I just received this email yesterday! OMG, what is this! It's scarey that someone has my SS#!!  I too, have tried several times to call the 1-760-888-1204 number, and it is not in service!!  I have sent a few nasty emails back myself to them! What do we do with this?!  I'm not happy, I'm sick!

I received and email on 06-17-11 from a Don Montoya. The email stated just as yours did Debbie. He states that court proceedings will commence 5 businees days from the date of the email 6-17-11. I replied back to him to provide me with details of who the creditor is the manner in which the funds were sent to me (check or electronically). He must think I was born yesterday. He now states the "COURT" has given me until end of day Tuesday to make restitution. This is a company of bottom feeders who in the end will get their just reward.

Josie Melon keeps calling my friends, me and my job telling me i was involved in fraud gave my ss# and said i owe them money, like to hear from me soon, when i called this number back on Friday June 17, 2011 the number is not in service anymore. Did not give me a name of the company, just her name

I was told the same thing about jail.  I basically told them I was filing bankruptcy and they never wanted to acknowledge that fact.  I showed the e-mail to my attorneys and they said it's a scam to collect money.

thats because they are trying to scam you. dont let them. just ignore their calls and report every number they call from.

"Office Anderson and Josie Melon" have been calling my work for the past several days saying that I owe for a payday loan which I never took out.  They said, well, it must be a case of identity theft...for you to be able to avoid going to court, you need to pay this.  They also said that I could pay it via Western Union (paying it to an individual...not a business!)  What business would use that as their practice?? When I called Josie Melon on this, she back tracked and said that this individual would get the money and give it to them. haha!! Sick of their calls, I stated that since it was clearly identity theft, that I would have my attorney handle this matter and requested a fax of any documentation which they had.  Several hours later, they faxed me a copy of a fake loan agreement.  It stated the amount financed as $0 yet, I owe them $298.89 for interest and the loan.  On the last sheet, in the signature field instead of my name, it says Josie Mellon (the person that works for the collection company).  I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and a Police Report with my local pd.  They called again this morning and I told them once again that my attorney would be handling this matter and not to call my work.  Since then, they have called at least 7 times and we have resorted to using a call blocking system.  Beware, one of the numbers which they call from is from an old cell phone # which I havent had in service in months.

Scam your own people in your own country

I  received a nasty e-mail from Josie Melon, Legal Affidavit Processor saying that I owe $750 which I never got anything from them. She is saying legal procedures will follow and when I call that number listed on her e-mail 1-760-888-1204 is not working.

I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and the local authorities,

Got a call from these people, couldn't hardly understand the foreign accent.  Told them to quit calling and they called at least 10 more times in a row.  The caller said either I or my attorney needed to take care of this matter, kept yelling over me, I told him I wasn't sending money and that I knew this was a scam.  I have actually called the local government on these calls before.  They give you your social security number and birthday to "prove" they are for real.  I even had one give me my bank account number and had to close my account!

I have recieved calls from this number at my work and they are harassing. They said according to the FDPCA they are allowed to call me and some fictitious person by the name of Emily Tucker  who works here authorized them to call me. The first guy I could not understand and I told him to speak English if he wanted to talk to me and he transferred me to a woman who called me a all kinds of foul names and said that I would know who she was in a few days when the FBI is involved. It is insane.

A heavily accented Indian man claims he is "James Anderson" looking for a Douglas Sibly regarding a legal matter. I told him that I have told his company 12 times I am not him. He sayd "If you liar you be in BIG trouble and have case against you! We are part of FBI!" I said "if you're part of the FBI why are you calling from California, and not Washington...and on a traceable number?" "OK GOODBYE!"

These people keep calling and they are horrible and rude. I have tried to tell them for several days that they have a wrong number and they keep calling. The won't listen and just talk over me even though I am asking them to stop calling. They are giving out private information for the person they are trying to contact. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!

they called me that if i dont pay ill go to jail i mean its a feakin scam all the way   if a real payday loan company they will send a letter and say that you are going to court not too pick you up by a police at your job

I just recieve the same phone call here at my job and they kept telling me i was in trouble...What the heck is this number and how did they get my job phone number? How can they legalliy so this and scare you?

That's not true even I got a call same phone number and they really helpful to me and they are based in Escondido, CA And they guys helped me to get out of a legal matter

Ok. I am getting calls from this number also as well as from a 305 number. They call all the time.
If you are getting calls you are not alone. Its a scam.
