Got a phone call from them today at 1:50...didnt pick up because I was in the library... For the past month I have been receiving weird phone calls from America.... and I live in Canada with no one that I know in America... damn telemarketers

Received a call from them today and I did the same thing (called them back) as our number is an emergency number. Heard music so I hung up.

Received the call at 11:08 am in Alberta but never answered. I called back on my work phone and it played music so I hung up.

also from toronto here. got the call today and stupidly called it back. some telemarketer telling me that i was qualified to win a sweepstakes for a vacation, as long as i was 23. well, i'm 22 and i informed her that and asked her how she got my number. she said they had kiosks all over malls in usa and canada and i apparently entered a sweepstakes. i never do that so no idea how she got my number. ugh, waste of long distance.

Has anyone noticed that this problem of telemarketers calling has gotten worse since the no call list??

760 is a Southern California area code.  I think they target Canadians because the law lets them.

Got a call on my cell phone in Toronto at 8:42 p.m. on March 5, 2009.  No message left.

Yeah, Toronto here, too. I think these scammers use another #, too - 614 434 9886. Virgin Mobile, I do NOT have the # on facebook, and do not put it on forms/applications, etc. It's basically unknown to anyone but friends.

Received a call at 8:37pm on my Telus phone.  I'm in Toronto.  I did not press 1.

Received a call from this number at 7:34PM Eastern time on my cell phone... Recording started saying "Congratulations" and I hung up. Likey a scam of some sort.

got this call from my fido cp, i don't know this number that's why i didn't answer it..Got curious also i searched where is the possible location..

I just saw a missed call from this number on my Virgin Mobile phone (area code 647).  Based on the comments from you guys, looks like I won't be calling it back.  Thanks!

i just got a call on my rogers phone as well

i think FACEBOOK is selling our numbers to this marketer or hacker.

i never used/posted my phone to somewhere until i updated by profile phone in facebook and within the week i got this stupid call.

Got this call today. Luckily, the ringer was off. If I get billed for this. Rogers will have something to answer to.

How do these people get cell numbers??? This is exactly why I don't have a land line so that I don't have to deal with telemarketers!!! They just called my Rogers cell phone in Northern Ontario. I didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the number. No caller ID. They didn't leave a message.

I received a phone call on my cell phone 11 Feb, in Ontario.  I use Telus, so it is not just Rogers.
Not thinking about it, I phoned the number and received music.

called my cell phone (ON) in midafternoon - I had heard that telemarketers would have access to cell ph numbers so I didn't pick up.

got this call tonight at 7:30pm - I guess Im  a valued client of some corporation that sells off my information to telemarketing scum - their should be a law that these guys need to disclose where they got our numbers from - frankly I waste more time and money on this crap than when someone steal my bike or busts into my car - and thats illegal!

Got at Call on My cell from this number...I live in Ontario and the number is from Barstow California.  It's a call saying you have won a prize and they tell you to press one....I never gave my number out to these people...Not to impressed that I get calls like this...Plus this is my new cell number and not to many people know it.

Got the call today at 1:35 pm. My cell number was "successfully chosen" and I was told to press 1. The call was from California. I just hung up. Has anyone ever pressed 1?
