Who is using this number?

i have been getting the same calls from someone who can barely speak english and knows my ss# its scary..they tell me they wish me the best of luck with what is about to unfold
ok so i try 2call back the # and it awsners to no-one on the other line...its confusing what should i do?

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

I HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME I OWE 300 AND IF I PAY 845.00 TODAY THEY WILL DROP ALL CHARGES.  TOTAL SCAM.  THINGS DO NOT WORK LIKE THAT

My husband recieve a phone call from a number 0000  the guy stated that his name was betty black.he told my husband that i had recieve a loan of 300 dallors that i never paid back and now i own 800 dallor he said that if he dont recieve his money i will end up having to pay lawyers fees and my husband will have to pay to keep my out of jail .he told my husband that i will have to call him withinn a hour . betty black called my job phone stated that the cops where  going to come to my job to arrest me do to lack of payments i told the guy that i had my bank stubs and i have not recieve a loan for 300 dollars. when i called the company back a guy by the name of james brown pick up i try to find out what was going on and he caught attitude i just hung up i realize it was a scam.

I received a call from this number however, it showed up as a "0000" # on my phone. A man with a heavy indian accent left a message for me or my attorney to return the call asap because i was being sued. i never returned the call because i received a call like this before however, i had that number blocked.  I was told by my phone service provider that this was a scam.

This is a scam - you call them back ans ask for details, they give some BS about you being sued in California (even if you don't live in CA) , but when you press for details or ask for the name of their company and who they represent, they hang up on you. If you repeat call them, they get angry, cuss you out and hang up on you. It's nothing but a scam to scare people into giving them money - real attorney's offices would:
#1 not call you but send you an official letter
#2 identify them selves clearly and give you all the details of your case
#3 not be suing you from a different state than the one you live in

Please do NOT give these people money, it is a SCAM.

I received the same calls at work & home stating the same things as previously stated. A "Mac Jones" who did not sound like anyone named Jones & spoke very poor english stated that I owe his company money for a pay day loan from July 2010. He also told me that he was going to call my work supervisors.

i got a phone call from a company saying their with an attorney or law office...said to call this number 7609331508....they said if i dont call them back they wish me luck and blah blah blah...i'm sick of the harassing phone calls when its a scam and not real. i called both numbers the one they gave me and the one that they called from. neither of them will go thru.

I've  recieved several of these calls from this company. Telling me I need to get an attorney and they wish me good luck if I don't call them back. Of course I owe people money but everything is current. I'm not being sued or garnished. I'm really confused. I think it may be a scam but they do have the last four of my ss#.

DONT KNOW WHO JAMES BROWN IS AND WHAT ATTORNEY OFFICE HE IS WITH HE STATES THAT I AM BEING TAKEN TO COURT AND NEED TO SETTLE THIS CASE WITH THEM ??? DONT KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NAME AND NUMBER
