They left a message stating that they were the human resources dept of 1st Financial Institution who found my resume on-line.  They directed me to search their website atIPScard.com/123 to sign up for a callback from one of their executives.  It stated that I could work either p/t or f/t.

Wow, looking over all the FFUSA plants on this forum, it's abundantly clear that the company knows it has something to cover up for.  This is as bad as CBeyond.

Nothing you said was true. Why lie?
I have been with FFUSA for over 3 years and make GREAT money. This is a REAL JOB for me and they have been voted (for the past three years) as BEST PLACE TO WORK. They must be doing something right, it was the employees who voted. Not many people can make it in the commission only sale field, like every other company, the turn over right is greater. This is a great company to work for.

What's the scam? They aren't going to pay you to do nothing. They don't ask for ANY money(ever) so if you don't make any, you have NOTHING to lose. PLEASE DON'T BE AN IDIOT.  There are NO jobs that you can sit at home and just make money. NOTHING.

If sales and commission only jobs aren't your thing try your hand with CHACHA.com People text there questions in, you answer and get paid. I did this for awhile until I started working for FFUSA. It pays around $0.10 a question answered.

I have been with FFUSA for sometime now and they are a great company to work for. Unlike every other work at home jobs, this company DOES NOT ask for any money from YOU. They give you info about them, you train and make money selling credit card processing services. Once you start it's a little slow but after a few months you start making money which can now cover all of your bills and after a year you are living great. It's 100% commission only so it isn't for everyone.

MUST READ!!!!!
If you do not wish for companies to call you then DON'T POST A RESUME WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ONTO THE INTERNET. This is common sense. You can call FFUSA and ask them to take your number off their list and then remove your telephone number from all posted resumes and just leave your email.
FYI FFUSA is a great companies to work for and just got voted for the third year for being the best company to work for. I love it, it pays my bills and then some.

I am employed/working for FFUSA and you don't have to give over your banking info if you don't wish too, they offer to pay you by check if you prefer. Just so you know they are a great company but like other commission based companies the reward of making a lot of money comes after months or work.

what is wrong with you people?  this is just a sales job..nothing else..no scam..no making money for doing nothing, certainly not for sitting on your butt at home...you have to make SALES CALLS...you know, a regular job...if you looking for something for nothing, you will always be disappointed...So get a life or a job, but just get over trying to misinform people who really are looking for an opportunity to better themselves!!!

GOOD LUCK TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE TRYING,

First Financial Merchant Services got my resume from online and my profile matched positions they are hiring for in my area (Doylestown, PA) and directed me to a website www.ispcard.com and indicated I should sign-up for a conference call. I did log-into a conference call and while on the call found several blogs from both customers of FFUSA and former employees that have had a poor experience with this company. Please beware of fraud and scams.

FFUSA is a scam!!!!

Don't waste your time and go and find a real job. The Internet will email you and get you through a fake interview over the phone. There are no sales or support to advance your carrier. There is one weekly sales call and it's a waste of time. They make two or three sales per person they hire and that's all they care about. Once you leave the business, the customer you just signed up which were your friends and family, they will raise their rates and in some cases double or triple their monthly merchant fees. Save your time and integrity and tell them no thanks and report them so they eventually get shut down.

I'm going to work for them, they never said anything about work from home, enless you where making sales calls from home.  You can call business or stop in set up a appointment to get there information to give them a better rate on credit card proccessing.  Its a sales job. I had a business for 14 years and thats how the mom and pop business are approched.  My business was approched 2-3 times a year to save on credit card proccessing rates.

I also received a call from "Julie" at First Financial this afternoon.  I did some digging and found their contact information:

Local 763-231-8120 ? Fax 763-231-8129

Give them a call.  Tammy is the head of HR.  I'm sure if enough people contact them about this, they'll change their recruiting tactics.

I also received a call on my cell today. However the phone number was slightly different, 763.231.9661.  I did an area code search and checked it was from Minnesota.  I hate how companies are taking advantage of those of us who are truly hurt by the lay-offs all over.  And I hate to think of those who actually fall for these scams.  I have seen far too many "work from home" scams lately.  Always check the BBB, if you are at least skeptical.  Or at least like me, check the internet, before you agree to do anything.

Thank you to those who already indicated that this company is a complete waste of ones time.

Good luck to those of you who are still searching for a great job.

First Financial USA (FFUSA) is a merchant services provider. They provide the financial services as well as the hardware for businesses who take credit cards. FFUSA looks at resumes posted online from monster.com or careerbuilders.com, etc. and contacts jobseekers by e-mail. FFUSA looks for people who know nothing about this industry. They promise that if you find merchants willing to use their credit card services that a sales agent will be paid a bonus plus ongoing residual income, 20% of the profit, for as long as the merchant uses FFUSA's service. They really emphasize the residual income as bonuses are both small and if the business is new or never took credit cards before then you don't get any bonus at all.

The scam here is that FFUSA will only provide residuals for 6 months or so then they stop, despite their promises. Additionally, they never explain how the residuals are calculated, they just say 'trust us.' The vice-president of the company, Chuck Fowler, bragged to me about how he makes $250,000 yearly. No wonder. FFUSA gets a lot of people to make a few sales, pays them a pittance for a bonus, then they keep all the residuals after a few months. At least twice a week FFUSA has telephone recruiting sessions where people are promised all this money with ongoing income from the sale. They constantly recruit new agents because the old agents figure out they aren't making much money. People like Fowler get rich off the residuals the sales agents were promised but no longer get paid for. What I discovered was they charge merchants $800 - $1600 for terminals that can be purchased retail for $200 - $400. The standard industry residual split is 50/50 not the 80/20 FFUSA provides before they cut you off entirely.

Hi, I joined FFUSA last week and for all of you that are posting all of these negative comments and haven't tried it for yourself, GET A GRIP! 1st of all to comment on "Sam from Indiana" posting, if you would have taken your time to read that Direct Deposit sheet correctly then you would have noticed that there was also an option that you could have chosen to get paid by a paper check in the mail so how on earth will they have access to your account unless you give them that info by choice(because your surely not forced to do so). 2nd there was somebody on this site who posted that you have to buy the equipment and then lease it back out to the merchants, WRONG!!! You don't have to pay a dime out of your pocket to start or to stay. Lets think about this rationally...hmmm..lets see, I don't have to pay for anything, he only personal info i have to provide is the basic info, I can do this in my spare time when I'm not doing anything else and I can actually make some extra income. I guess I feel this way because I;m more of a leader than a follower. I listened and I reacted because my big thing was that I have nothing to loose but much to gain. Also I fell in love with their "Give Back" program. It my not be the organization of my choice but what ever organization the merchant chooses I know that someone in the world is being helped because of me!!! In my book...its a win win!!
