We just had a phone turned on with Bright House network.  For the past week, have gotten tons of calls all day, every day,  from telemarketers.  One of these was from 800-257-5722.  They refused to tell the real name of their company other than IRL.  I asked for a supervisor.  He said that even tho we are on the federal do not call list, his company can call us for the next 30 days and there is nothing that we can do about it.  Then he hung up on me.  I called back and politely spoke to a lady and she told me that they are International and/or Interstate Readers League located near Atlanta.  B- rating and not accredited with the BBB because of their poor business practices.  Research provided their physical address.  3145 Reps Miller Rd Suite A, Norcross, GA 30071-1417.  Just south of Peachtree Industrial Blvd.  Office Phone: (770) 441-3970.  Fax: (770) 441-3358.  If enough irritated victims show up in their parking lot, I'm sure we could get their attention.

Stop calling and not saying anything

This number has been calling for months but leaves no messages, tried to call them back and got no answer

this number is interstate readers league of atlanta. they call saying that you are a valued customer and that u are in a sweepstakes and they go on and on until they want u to buy magazines for so much and they want ur bank info or ur credit card info. dont do it. this company will keep calling and harassing u until u do it but tell them no! the amount of the magazines when u have paid it all is like 500 dollars

Several months ago I received free cruise tickets in the mail.  I responded by calling the number on the Caribbean Cruise Line voucher.  I was offered a subscription to receive magazines which I declined. Now I am receiving magazines every week.  I have been calling the 800-200-8505 number and can never get through.  I would like Interstate Readers League to stop sending me these magazines immediately.  I do not wish to pay for something I did not order.

I am prety stoked right now.  I went through the whole pitch and when they asked me a for a card number i refused to give it to them because they called me.  I don't give my number out to people who call me.  I asked them for a website to check them out and she told me that they dont do that because they dont want their competition to see them.  So i told her i would do some research and if they checked out i would call her back.  she gave me the 800-257-5722 number abnd told me to ask for Shannon.  I bet if i called back therre would be no answer!  So glad i did not commit to their scheme!

BUYER BEWARE, never give info like that if they hesitate to give you an opportunity to call them!

I had recieved a phone call from these idiots. they have a really good approach to con you into buying their crap. something is definently wrong with this company. they havent recieved a payment as of yet. can anyone tell me what the right way to cancel is. and if anyone knows the right number to call or actual website is. I got duped into buying magazines from this company. Ever since I get calls from a whole bunch of other supposed magazine companies all claiming to be IRL and they have all the information to make you believe that is who they are. Have since had to cancel my credit card and have a new one re-issued due to other's getting hold of my information.

I strongly suggest that anyone who has been scammed by this company contact the BBB. IRL failed to hold up to any of their contracted promises and refused to answer any of my letters. The few times I've actually been able to talk to someone, I got a different story every time and they were all lies. The more people who come forward, the easier it will be to protect people in the future.

Same thing here....but they use 1-800-257-5722...every day.They told me the same thing...$43.00 every 3 months...thought it was a great deal,untill they started billing me $43.00 every month.At first I put it on my credit card...but my credit card rejected the transaction,so now they are trying to get me to pay by check....yeah... hold your breath.

I got the same call problem. They told me it was $43.75 every three months. Now I get a letter that says $43.75 each month for 19 months. They'll cancel my subscription or I will take them to court!!!!!.

I've been going through all of this for a few months now. Noticed it when I had $43.75 taken off my credit card, and then again. And then the harrassing telephone calls. For awhile I would get several a day. I had to call my creditcard service and file a lost and stolen card claim. So they cant get money out of me that way. And they call still all of the time. I either say she dont live here or she is deceased. I called the post office and they said to put refuse on all the magazines and put them back in the mail box. I dont know how this will work beings there is no return address. My mother in law also recieves unwanted magazines. how do we get this to stop? They signed me up for mag's supposedly for $3.67 per week but keep billing me for $43.75 a month and i cannot contact anyone to cancel. Have tried calling 770.441.3970 could use some advice on how to handle!!!!!

Hey, answer your phone next time they call and tell them to freakin get lost that you dont want their stupid s***. Because thats all it is. It will put you in a bind.

Heres the number to the IRL, 800-200-8505 but do not let them talk you into buying magazines. They will tell you it cost 3.34 a week but when you sign up they will charge you $43.75 x20 with total payments of $875.00. Then they will tell you that you can not get out of the agreement.

ordered a bunch of magazines and wanted a gift magazine given for my grandmother.  as a result, she is getting unwanted magazines and I am getting hang up calls and harrassment calls.  I want it stopped

I am going through the same crap...in fact, I even paid on a bill and they claim that they did not get the money...I hate them...I wish you luck...

They call incessantly.

Their calls interrupt me at work, where we have a strict cell phone policy. I always let it ring and go to voicemail. Yet, they never leave a message. If what they have to tell me is so important, don't you think they'd have left a message by now?

For the past 4 weeks, they've called every Saturday at 9:30 am. Saturday is my day off. I like to sleep in. This borders on harassment.

Called the 800 no. from above! and had them take me off there list of people to call! you should the same!

Calls every single night but no one ever answers.  Call it back but no one picks up.
Really irritating.

The phone number 770-441-1167 is not listed on their letterhead.  It must be an Outgoing line and not able to receive In Coming Calls.  But why they do not talk when the phone is answered?

About October 2007, I had a marketing call which offered 5 subscriptions for term of 10 years for payment of mailing fee and would receive other free subscriptions complimentary from publishers.  They would charge my credit card $43.75 for 20 months which would equal to $875. No assurance that the subscriptions would continue after they collected the 5 year subscriptions in only 20 months.  In my case I am a cancer patient and have already lived longer than predicted so I probably will not be around to receive the magazines.  Will my estate be obligate to continue to pay the "verbal contract"?

Have tired to discuss the apparent bad deal or fraud but cannot return their call to discuss their program.  Main reason they are now calling me is that I began reducing my large number of credit cards.  By accident I cancelled the one from which they were collecting.  If they want a new number they will have to talk to me otherwise I would glad for them to cancel the subscriptions.

I am now receive at least a dozen magazines to which I would never subscribe as a 70 year old male. For example, "Working Mother" "Golf" "OK"
"ESPN"  "Inc" "Plane and Pilot" and several business magazines which a retired person does not need.  My mail box has been packed since they began.   I wished I had the time to read but they just stack up and go to Recyle.
