Same caller constantly - saying someone paid for me to have a medical alert device "I've fallen and can't get up"..........
told them I wasn't old enough for that quite yet - they just keep talking nonstop until I hang up on them.  Got their
phone # posted by my phone now so I won't be answering anymore.

Got this call about medical devices as well. I use Phone.com as my low cost phone system because it has great programmable features and is well supported by their people. With the phone.com system all I do after getting a spam call is look up the number in the call log and block it with the click of the mouse. I see on the Phone.com web site, since blocking this number, I have gotten another call but it was blocked!

AT&T Uverse also has the capability to block up to 20 numbers but there are way more than that to take care of plus area codes can not be blocked by you in the Uverse system - to my knowledge. Besides Uverse phone is pretty expensive once the bundled promotion of internet, phone, and TV service runs out.

A long time ago I also bought a small P2P Interceptor  (google it) box and it simply hooks to the phone line input and the output connects to the normal cordless phone system in the house. The neat thing is it can easily be programmed to block entire area codes as well as block individual numbers - without ringing my phone - sending blocked calls to an answering machine. The P2P Interceptor is useful if one does not want to change phone systems. I've never had one spammer leave a message yet.  Finally, SURE has been QUIET around the house lately. YEA!

Ms. Peggy,
They won't stop until you block them! Then they might change their number? If so, block them again! That is what call blocking is all about! Happy Hunting!

Some old Song.  John wants to schedule the installation of the medical alert system I DID NOT order.  I hung up before I could hear the rest of his pitch.  This scammer uses several numbers.  I have blocked several numbers using this same scam.  I will block this and all future attempts

Have a Happy Holiday John, or whatever your name is :-)

I have told these people at least 15 times to remove me from their list.  I am on the national NO call list but it must not mean anything. They call all hours of the day or night. How,do you get them to stop?

They call from different numbers with the same old song....I already told them no one is elderly in my household anyway. I am tempted to give a fake credit card to waste their time like they waste mines! I will probably just hang up or speak a foreign language just to irate.

DNC worked until the scammers figured out how to get around it - and there are numerous ways. I'm pretty sure that reporting robo calls is useless.

This particular scam is trying to get credit card info, I believe. One version of it especially targets the elderly, which is particularly infuriating.

The medic alert for seniors scammer's only reason for calling us, is to get our credit card information, so they can cheat us!

Aggravating calls, to say the least. Recorded message that says "This is John from the delivery service  We have your order here and are ready to deliver it." Well, I haven't ordered anything, so I must assume that this is a marketing call, or some scatterbrained individual trying to get information. I usually hang up immediately, but if I am not near the caller ID, I answer and hear the same message. I am on every do not call list that can be imagined and to no avail. I have reported them before so I guess I will do so again. Wish they would stop!!!
