Please STOP calling me! You got what I had to give and I wish so bad that I did not write my number on that slip of paper. NEVER again will I donate to this "charity". I have never seen a charity harass the donaters as much as this company has.

The above link it a BBB report on Hope House/Nspire.  It is not perfect; they are lacking in 3 non-profit criterion.  But they are meeting or exceeding standards in 5 other categories.  I have a scheduled pick up next week (my first time) and I'll let you know if they show up.

Constantly calls

I live local N GA - + I work N the legal field they called me all last summer l long M the midst if me losing a lot of body parts -- when they called last week I didn't answer - when they called this week I answered the phone FYI you can ask anyone since I was small I don't like the phone I'm notorious 4 avoiding the phone like the plaque 2 ... Lol lol This week I got them - When they called I answered - I asked them 4 their official address - when they gave it 2 me I googled it surprise surprise it wasn't a legit ## -- lol lo -  I gave them my job description + I called them out on it their address lol lol ;) guess what they hung on me this time -- I guess they won't be calling me back no more AND that WAS that -- humm I guess that did the trick huh - I "" HOPE "" so ...  Psps 4 all of those folks who knows VIP folks FYI 4 right now ONLY -- this - it seems that it don't matter who you really do know out there so does it really matter - I know everybody N Cobb county GA --- & N GA Washington DC ... FYI you  can't rant & rage all ya want 2 BUT the bottom line is this NATA happened - I think if we as USA citizens went 2 the major tv network like CNN & ECT & maybe IF the great USA folks started an on line petition N the USA - then IT might get noticed - MAYBE then our USA government might pay attention 2 US then - or maybe not - == will it deter the scam artist - FYI I highly doubt it but it might however it's a start -- If there is any other constructive criticism out there that' CAN or will help - just let me know BCZ I will personally volunteer my FREE LEGAL services 2 put a end 2 this none sense utter BS  FYI that's all I do is social injustices cases --- honestly you know that saying "" sometimes you have 2 make the difference "" but I've found BY me re visiting - & looking @ OUR past history lessens it's taught me this - these lessons "" sometimes 1 needs 2 BE the difference "" quit talking about it - & do something about it BCZ "" sometimes you must BE the difference ""  as 1 person it's hard 2 get action achieved however when it's done N groups OR multiplied then by the #S then BS gets done - achieved == that's  when momental CHANGE IS changed AND as N 4 EVER 2 ... What can we do about the constant phone calls and hanging up? I am also on the Do Not Call List, but I did see that charities are exempt. I have asked repeatedly to be removed when someone actually spoke to me. Now, they just call my number almost daily and hang up. It is beyond annoying.

So, I called them back.  Lady asked me if I had any clothes she could have.  I said I'd give them the ones I am currently wearing, but she would have to share a blanket.  They hung up on me...

4 calls in 1 hour... The next one, I will politely answer, "Cobb County 911".

Gary how can they a good charity when they tell you they will stop calling and they keep calling. I believe that shows their integrity is no good I have asked to be taken off their list many times and said they would I just got a call from them I have also emailed the CEO and he will not respond.

They are constantly calling me at all times during the day. I am a teacher and forgot to put my phone on silent ONE DAY. The only call I got that interrupted my lesson was from these harassers. I have told them numerous times to stop calling me, and yet they still continue to harass me. I am considering harassing communications charges against them.

They call daily

This is a business and I have told you more than three times not to call.  The person that was accepting your calls no longer works here so please do not call again.

Charities are one of the few exceptions that the DNC allows to call people.  That being said, they are required to honor removal requests and if they do not honor them, they can fined.   These folks, along with NSPIRE (who honored my removal request for maybe a year before starting to call again) and American Kidney Services (Whose folks use their home phone or a cell phone so you're more likely to answer it.  I've been telling their paid telemarketers for over a year to remove my number and at least once a month I get a call from one of them.)..  Many of these charities are charities in name only as the bulk of their donations never reach the people that the donors think they are helping.

I have a home office phone as well as a home phone.
Between the two of them, probably 10 calls over 2 days.
After 9:00pm, before 8:30 am... it doesn't stop.

Most of the time no one is on the line. One time I got someone and told them to stop calling and they mumbled something and hung up.

Harassment is Harassment... they are hiding behind the 'charity' clause, but I can tell you they are the last charity I would give money to at this point. This behavior should not be rewarded.

JP, these people are hurting your charity, Don't tell us, tell them!   They are destroying your name and charity with this abuse.  They Hide from us,  So you do something cause you are gonna go down with them when it happens.  

Do the RIGHT thing, If what you say is true, clear your name and stop this mess.  These scumbags are gonna harm all good charities,

That is the front business appearance,  they take all resellable items to their retail store and give the junk to charity while making profits off any thing of worth processed in the back office.  I found it once before they moved again. Told them a group of Bikers were coming to thank them for all their hangup phone calls. At that point they changed the back office # and moved outside the city limits when I reported the back office business.  Cops there can't get them now for their fake front business. Larenceville police told me they can't touch them now since they moved across the city limits line again. They know they are a scam! They claim a charity status but only donate the things they can't sell.  Real charities would not use robo dialers.   Sounds like time for another ride!

Gary, if they were legit, they'd leave a message to call back and not constantly call and harass people at early and probably most hours of the day. Save your BS for someone who actually is gullible.

Any attorneys out there? Wonder what it would take to file a class-action lawsuit? Not for monetary gain, but to stop the constant calls, and maybe set a precedent to discourage harassing calls from similar organizations. I donate to other charities, but not ones that harass me like Hope House & Nspire. Their methods alone make them suspect. Wonder if Tv stations would run a story if enough of us send them complaints? A little negative PR might get the worst offenders to re-think their policies.

Bull. They do not stop  calling. For years. . . I've asked them to stop calling my number. For years they call five times per day and leave no message and hang up most of the time. This is a load of crap. . . and I am about to get legal involved. I've gotten phone records showing their calls for years...repeatedly..on the same day. That is harassment in anyone's book. I'm going after the turds.

The phones calls I receive almost every day and multiple times per day from your organization have gotten to the point of nothing but harassment. If I do answer it no one is there and it hangs up.

I receive calls from them at least twice a day! Even though I BLOCKED the call well over a month ago (it rings once then says "call blocked"), they just keep on calling me! What is WRONG with these morons?!?

I am on the DNC list and this organization has been calling me several times a day for years. I have called them and personally asked to be taken off of their list; it worked for a few weeks and then they were at it again. Why has nothing been done about this terrible scourge?
