Got the call from 771-777-7777. No message left. I did NOT sign up with Explore Talent or whatever they're called. I've had a cell phone since 1996 and I have NEVER received an unwanted telemarketer call. I have a feeling it might be from a payday loan center I checked out out of curiosity and they might have sold my phone number.

Got a call today. My stepdaughter registered at Exploretalent (with my approval) and gave them my cell number. I answered because of the wierd number, no reply. If you Google "Chicago modeling" they come up very high so I thought they were probably on the up and up. As one of the other posters says, this may be a way for them to verify the number being real. If so, it's not a very good idea.

Hey I did the same the talent agency Explore Talent... and got the cal seconds later... No word just hung up... its got to be a gimmick ... they offer free help and then want you to upgrade to pro for a fee...

I was just filling out the information on Explore Talent website. I wasn't even done...I had just finished with my phone number when my cell phone started ringing with the number 771 777-7777. I had when I get calls and answer and no one is there. I thought it was odd so I googled the number and saw that many people get this when signing up for Explore Talent. Some site's say beware it's a scam. Not sure though either way they really need to disclose the fact they will call you from this number. Something really should be done about this.

The same thing happened to me when I signed up with a talent agency. I had a missed call from 771-777-7777. When I tried to call back, it was not possible. I am wondering if it could be a porn operation. They have ways of masking things, even IP addresses.
Everyone should be warned about them.

I signed up for Explore Talent as well and got a call. I had given them a cell phone number and I think it is good I did that, rather than my home number. At least my cell phone has a caller ID on it. I had that phone in another room and did not hear the call coming in. I guess it was good that I didn't answer now!! I will delete these calls!
