No, I use a different name on FB than is my real name...and the text used my real name. So freakin' weird!!!! And creepy!

Hi I got similar msg... But from the name they used, it seems, they got my ph no from the FACEBOOK. Because, I have used a different name for my facebook app page, and the text has that name which I used in the facebook app. I haven't used that name anywhere else. For others, do you use the same name and number in your facebook pages?

The text used my first name ("hey Linda! u busy?") and when I tried texting or calling back, it would seem that the number's inbox for texts and voicemails is full. Oy - really glad I googled this and will not answer in the future!

Same thing happened to me. Texted me by name, and I replied, identified himself as "eric" then I got an ad for an aid to quit smoking. Yeah, I'm a marathon runner. I don't smoke. Never have.
