When I Googled the number it shows it's based in Iowa

This number called our office asking for our CEO by name. If people know him, they have his extension so I always know it's a sales or telemarketing call. I've received several calls from this number... always a person with an Indian or Pakistani accent and they always say they are "From the office of Heather Brown." I never stay on the line long enough to figure out what they are selling.

Call from Marin Software.  My business advertises on Google so they found us there and called to see if we were interested in their software technology.

I would love to know if this is correct?

Received a call from this goon at my work, asked for me by my last name and after I said yes, he hung up. pretty freaking pissed.

Thanks for the info about this number being the Democratic Party...I learned years ago not to declare if I were a Democrat of Republican.  Amazing how much controversy it creates when I said my party is INDEPENDANT.  I was once told that I couldn't vote if I didn't declare my party so that particular day I told them I was Republican.  Wasn't able to vote for some of the judges I wanted to but I know it's going to be very interesting at the next  primary.

I see from an earlier post that this number is Democratic National Convention wanting to give you a survey.  I get a call from this number today that ticked me off. Number 1, I was sound asleep when the phone rang and woke me up.  Caller I.D. said Illinois Call. I answered the phone and repeatedly said hello.  No one said a word.  Now I'm really boiling because I can't go back to sleep.  Now I had have several phone calls from the voice of a politician.  I voted for him in past elections because I liked him and what he supposedly said he'd do.  Now that he seems to be following in his Daddy's footsteps, I most certainly will not be voting for him again.  I mean why on earth does his teleprompter call my house at least more than once with the same message.  If you don't answer the phone the message is at least 2 minutes long using up your resources for your answering machine.  I've blocked at least 5 different numbers where this politician's teleprompter or whatever has called my home.  When I attempted to block this call my phone said phone block full.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr time to buy a new phone since it only blocks 30 calls.  Rest assured the Reverend's son will not get my vote ever again in life.

Just recieved a call and they hung up. Also on DNC list and don't even live in Illinois anymore.

I received two phone calls from this number, similar to the post from bebe1978.  The caller did not say anything.  The calls were around 7 p.m.

Well, they called back again last night and this time I answered (because my curiosity got the better of me).  A man asked for me by my first name (!!!) and then claimed he was from the Democratic Party and would I be interested in participating in a survey.  Oh, hell no.  So, after I declined, I politely asked him to be removed from their calling list.  Hopefully, that will do the trick.

I don't take surveys -- whether they're legitimate or not.  I don't like voting in primary elections in Illinois because you have to declare whether you're a Republican or a Democrat and I hate for either party to know my affiliation.  By the way, I've voted for both parties in various elections in the past.  One time when I asked for a Republican ballot because there was someone I needed to vote for, the judge screamed out, "Hey, Joe.  I finally got a Republican here for you!"  If looks could kill, I'd be in jail right now.

When answered caller hangs up.  I am listed on do not call list. How do I stop this harassment?

Received 4 calls between 6 & 8pm from this number.

Call came in at 7:00 PM. I did not answer because I was in class. They did not leave a message.

Call came in at 7:20 pm; I said hello; no one answered; I said nothing else; caller hung up.  Caller ID came up as Illinois Call.

This number called me at dinnertime when I could not answer.  When I called back, there was a message stating that this number was no longer in service.  Sounds like a scammer to me.

Democratic National Convention wanting to give you a survey.  Tell them you're sick of both parties and voting Libertarian.

Have started to get repeated calls at 7-8 pm at night.  Just got a hang up from this number.  Called back and outgoing message says number not in service.
