They just called me and I picked and then they told me I need to speak to the  person responsible for the Comcast Electricity bill. I and I asked who do you need, and then I gave them a name to see if that's who they needed because I don't have an electricity bill in my name and they just kept saying they need to speak with the person that has a Comcast bill. So I hung up, it was an African lady speaking to me.

We're a business and this number calls us at least once a day. When our secretary picks up there is just silence

Just got a call from this number asking to speak to the person who handles our ComEd bill. If you live in Illinois and get a call like this, please do not answer. There is a scam going on in Ilinois involving people asking for personal information pertaining to your ComEd electricity service.

Solve this problem with a SILENT ring tone.
To do this use the record option on your phone. Record SILENCE for 1 second. Save the phone number that you want and assign the name "Do not answer". Assign the silent ring tone to this number.

After that when they call you will not be bothered because you will not hear a ring as it is silent.  The only way you know they called is when you look at your phone and see that you missed a call. When you see the missed call was from "Do not answer" you can just laugh.

Does not block the call but otherwise solves the problem.

Did not answer call...believe to be some sort of scam call.

I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST FOR MY HOME AND CELL PHONES but yet I keep being harassed by these people. What is the point of the list if they are allowed to violate it and not bepunished.

Get repeated calls from this number in the same day. When i pick up and hang up the calls stop for a few weeks.

This is a group claiming to have rooms on 4-day cruises like Royal Caribbean from Florida to Bahamas.  Only $94 per person, 2 person occupancy, room and food included.

The voice was very robotic but did respond to questions.

When I asked for website data, and to delay - got hung up on.

Got a couple calls from them.

Does anyone have an idea why they do that? When I try to talk to the operator (after pressing one) -- they hang up very fast.  They aren't even trying to sell anything.  Will I get hit by $4.99 bill for pressing "1"?  If not, why do they bother?

I suppose it doesn't matter anymore if you are on the do not call list....I think telemaketers should have to give you the address they are calling from so that you can go visit them:)

Got a call from this number @ 4:08pm. I was at work and on the phone with a patient so I didn't answer. Lokke dit up here and now I 'm glad I didn't answer. I also have my number on the do not call list.

I pressed one got a guy -with a lot of telephone talking going in the background.
With a dull voice I just asked the guy how many of these redirected calls he does a day and he said about 60. He then hung up. I guess I lost my free cruise.

I don't think the DNC list applies here,It's on my cell(which is VERY frustrating) someone suggested you label them Scam, so you don't pick it up and waste you minutes,but my phone already has 5"Scams" on it already if I keep doing it there will be more of them than I have contacts!!! (besides the number seems to change all the time) Have reported them already, just got an e-mail back that really was just a form letter that said NOTHING! So now I don't answer, unless I know the #.
