I did not answer, the ansering machine came on, but they left no message.

Called my office direct dial #, asking for my partner by name (didn't use the main number or his direct dial).  Identified self as Josh Goodrich.

received a call on direct dial office line... No voicemail was left.  Google search listed Careerbuilder.com as the source.

got a call from this number, didn't answer but it was someone saying they were from careerbuilder.com.

Called me and left no message because I could not identify the number. I receive applicationd from CB.com so it may be from there.

This number is the main outgoing number from careerbuilder.com main facility. They are relentless. They have called 14 times even though I and members of my office have asked them to not call again. How can we make this crap stop?

Got a call from this number and on my voice mail all there is was heavy breathing for about 60 seconds in the form of a song. Really weird.

got a call on my work phone which means person must have asked for me by name to get connected to my extension. I only heard background noise the first call but no message was left.  Two days later got a call again but no message.

Someone keeps calling and are not very pleasent. Would not quit calling - day after day. Finally I did a web search, turns out to be careerbuilder.  Call and requested to be taken off their call list. I gave the office number and she stated that this number will taken off their list.  Hopfully this will work.

Well, as I am typing this message - they phoned again, I told them I had asked not to be contacted and I hung up. The nerve he called again!!!! So we had 3 to 4 calls from this guy. WHAT A PAIN???!!!!!

yes, this is Careerbuilder.  reps have to make minimum 100 calls per day.  it sucks - i used to be a telemarketer and make $12/HR!  AHH!  just tell them you'd like to talk to a manager when they call and explain that they are harrasing you.  They'll take care of the calls.

We just placed an ad in local paper, so it would make sense that careerbuilder would be trying to call

Careerbuilder.  Sergio is relentless and won't stop calling.  When he couldn't give me specifics of why he was calling to meet with my boss (he said he wouldn't know what he can offer us until he talks to us)  I told him we wouldn't have time for him.  Annoying and frustrating. They don't get the message when you tell them you're not interested and ask to stop calling.

Woman calls pretending to know you and says you tried to connect her with HR on the last call.  Acts upset when you do not set up an appointment.

Twice a week we get a call from an Angelo Banano looking for our hiring manager...we do not have one. He thinks we do because we are a small outplacement firm and our ads are for our services, not jobs.

You would think someone who works at Careerbuilder would know or even look at our ads correctly!

CareerBuilder also calls to talk to companies that already have a project going with them.  Also, they call to screen applicants who have applied or posted resumes online.  A company's president might not want employees to know he is looking for an employee through CareerBuilder, which may explain why they do not identify themselves, and why they have your company president's cell phone number.  An employee who has posted his/her qualifications online may not want his employer to know he is looking for a job...another possible reason for not identifying themselves.
