Got weird sounding message upon answerin "new call" on my safelink cell phone, same as everyone  else.

got a miss call onmy cell phone called back to a fax line

Got to my car and check my phone which stated that I missed two calls. Recieved 1rst call from 1-773-596-1460. Recieved 2nd call 12 minutes later from first call from +2015209341.

I got the same call.  I called my bank...it IS a SCAM.

I got the same call as everyone else, and I entered zeros, upon each request and it accepted zeros???!!  Hope they try to use them...

just received the same call.  it was highly suspicious so when the automated call asked for my debit card to be entered, I hung up.  Just to be sure, I did call my bank and ask if my debit card had been suspended for all purchases and cash advances (as the recording had said).  Of course it had not been and the call was not from them.

Same thing, I received this call, said that ATM was down, press one for security.  I didn't do anything and it hung up.  My bank is local and so I knew, but I am sure others would not be so lucky.  Do not listen to them, call your bank if you are at all nervous about it.  thank you for this valuable service you provide.

Just got the same call, same number, same info. Credit card is suspended, call to reactive it.   Called the bank and they said, no, credit card is ok.  Sounds like a scam.

I just received this call few mins ago with the same message Dec 10th 12.50pm  just typed the number in google and saww all your messages thanks !!

THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM which was confirmed by my bank! They are trolling for VISA DEBIT CARD numbers

I got a call from this number too. I did not answer the call but i heard the voicemail based on which i determined that this was a robo-call. I am planning to report it to the FTC. It was stated in the news recently that any such robo-calls can be reported to 1-877-FTC-HELP.

I got a call from this number, and then I gave them my debit card number.  After that they needed the pin, no problem I have it written on the card.  I'm sure they will test the card to be sure its working.

Called my cell phone this afternoon and my mother's a few hours later.  I hung up and called my local police to report it.  Never give your information out over the phone.  If a credit card company legitimately calls you, they will not ask for your card number.

got call from 773 596 1460 told the same message saying debit cards are deactivated. I thought of this as a prank. googled it and saw your posts

It is 8:25pm 12-09-09 and I just recieved a call from this number.  It said I my visa debit card had been suspended and to enter my visa debit card number to reactivate it.  I didn't do it because I dont even use that card at all. So I contacted my Local bank and they said right away it was a scam.  The number has been given to the local police and FBI.

My mom and I both got calls from this number with the same message as everyone else, within 2 minutes of each other. Most definitely a scam.

did anyone register their numbers with the do not call registry?  I did and all 3 phones got calls the very next day. Same thing about the VISA card.

I just got a recorded call saying that my visa debit card had been limited for purchases.  They wanted me to press 1 and probably enter info.  I just hung up and googled the number and found all these comments.  My son also got the same call on his cell a few minutes after they called me.

We neither one have visa debit cards.

A recording from this number called my cell at 4:46 CST 12/9/09 and called my wife's cell two times after that.  They said "We regret to inform you but your debit card was suspended.  Press 1 to talk to security..."  When we called back it was the sound you get when you call a fax machine.  I also check our bank online and use our debit card multiple times per day so I knew this was a scam.

Just had the call, did not answer it, I inserted their number in search and came here, thank you all. Never ever give any financial or personal information over the phone to anyone calling you. Thank you again

They called every one of our cell phone numbers and none of us even have debit cards.  We didn't respond because we have been warned in the past that doing what they ask gives them access to our information even if we don't provide any.
