this guy called me and i want 2 know what they wanted

Agent called stating my daughter had ordered materials when she signed up for the SATs through the college.  My daughter has never ordered materials, was never signed up for the SATs, and had already completed the ACT.  When I tried discussing the issue with the agent, she wouldn't shut up even after I had started yelling into the phone and whistling to get her attention.  She just kept on going until I hung up.

Please don't fall for the fake posts saying the product really works and don't EVER give out your credit card information over the phone.  If it is legitimate, they can send you something.  Of course, check it out on the "Better Business Bureau"

The positive comments here are obviously fake.

This is a scam just like the College Prep Center.

Bottom line:  If a stranger calls and asks for your credit card number over the phone DO NOT give it to them.  Do NOT give private info out over phone or internet unless you are SURE about the company.  To many scams out there that are good at sounding legitimate.  Don't be scared, just be smart.

They called and hung up.  It is ILLEGAL to auto dial to sell things in WYOMING**when will they get it????

Sounds to me like those "people" are the person doing the selling.  Who goes on a number look-up site to rate software.

Call almost every day , even though we have repeatedly told them to stop. do not have any students.

Sometimes your never know who may be calling you, in this call to my home this company was selling  test prep software for my child for the ACt's & SAT's. We looked around and found they are a real company that is just trying to help families out. The price is very reasonable at $179.00 and they offered a 30 day money back offer, they really put their money where their mouths are! This is a pretty good offer!!!

The Collegiate Prep Center company has called a couple of times and at first we didnt know what the call was about. after talking to this company we ended up buying the SAT & ACT software and our kids LOVE it. the best 179.00 i have spent on my childrens education!!!

When I pick up the phone, there is never anyone there.  I thought perhaps it was a relative because I have family in Chicago, but it's not and no one ever says anything when I answer.

I missed a call from them and tried to call them back. It was from Collegiate Prep Center in Chicago, Il. I have no idea why I got a call from them and I am on the National Do No Call list.

I also keep getting calls from 919-402-4500, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and 407-658-4336 which is a scam about expiring auto insurance.

How on earth are we supposed to stop these unsolicited calls when we're already on the Nat'l Do Not Call list.

this company called to sell us act & sat software for our kids, the best thing we have ever bought over the phone, it improved our kids act score 8 points and sat scores where up 350 points. we love the collegiate prep center

I have no idea, dude! they keep calling me too. my parents haven't answered the phone so far so idk what it is.

I get calls all the time from these people wanting to sale me software for my sons SAT testing. Getting really sick and tired of this. I too am on the DO NOT CALL list. What part of DO NOT CALL do they not get. Just do like I do and don't answer anymore. If you answer by mistake, hang up on them.

These people have called me twice! Today was the kicker...when I told him I had spoken to someone already and didn't want the software, he made it sound like my son was an idiot for checking a box on some form for SAT help and thinking the help would be free. I layed into him and asked him if anywhere next to that little box did it say that someone would be calling and asking for money and wanting to sell me something.  He didn't like that and starting rambling so I just hung up. Something really should be done about these people.

Woke up at nine, dentist appt. at ten. The call came at about nine fourty five, asked to speak to my parents and I told them that they died. The girl told me she was sorry for my loss and they haven't called back since.

yea they just called me it is so frickin fake i said my dad was in surgery so they couldn't talk to him and they're all oh we'll call back in a few weeks and its just stupid.

They called here and they asked to speak with "The parents of Lela S-----" and I told them weren't here and he goes Oh. and hangs up.

It had to be the SAT/ACT people.

They called last year for my brother.
And they are fake,
Don't give them any money.
They won't help you.

i thought it was my basketball coach so i picked up up sed hello and then it was like a puase i was gunna hang up then it sed may i speak with one of the parents of naomi figueroa(me)so i sed they arent here right now and he sed well ill call back l8r and thats it i was creeped out

Don't believe the positive posts here about these guys, these are obviously fake posts they have made themselves.  These guys hire high-pressure commission based work-at-home people and pass out "warm leads" (http://forum.real-home-employment.com/viewtop ... 8&view=previous) to them so you have a bunch of different people with your number trying to make a buck off from you. I'm on the do-not-call registry but they don't care. I've turned them in, but nobody seems to care. I get many phone calls from them. I've quit answering, but when I or my wife have answered and tell them we're not interested and to not call again, they become rude and belligerent. Maybe they're a legitimate company, but I hope nobody will buy from a company that operates like this, there are plenty of good prep programs out there by companies with ethics.
