I'm receiving repeated calls advising me to purchase automobile warranty.  I can't seem to get rid of them or get any information out of them. They won't divulge their address "for security reasons"!!

This was the third time this week they called my cell phone. How do they have cell phone numbers?

I just got a call from this number but was away from cell. I looked it up and it said from chicago. This site explains the spoof.

I think they are linked to the same annoying warranty company as 1-203-649-1217 because all of a sudden I'm getting mystery calles from both companies.

Yeap, yet another call from a number I do not recognize. Just as I thought, spammers again - thanks to Google and sites like this for pointing that out. It is high time for open source cell phone software - with a few lines of code I could tell my phone to ignore these calls completely. Until then... :(

Got the call on my cell phone. When I tried to call back, it says the # has been temporarily disconected

They seriously need to stop calling me. They call, I answer, and then if I try to call it back it's disconnected. Ridiculous.

This number called my home phone last night and just now my cell phone, both telling me my car warranty had expired.

I received a call saying that the warranty on my vehicle was about to expire.  I stayed on the line, and the woman hung up on me when she found out that I had a motorcycle, but not car.

I didn't answer then when i called back it said the number was disconnected

i recieved a call from this # about car warraty expireing, when i asked to speak to a superviser she kept trying to get info out of me. i asked 5 times to speak to the superviser, was put on hold for about 10 min. the was disconnected.
hey Kathryn i called that 1-203-649-1217 number and an autoteller asked ( if you would like stop getting call from this #[1-203-649-1217] to press one. i did nothing and waited to see what they would say next but nothing)

i've had friends complain about this, and now i see their number on my caller ID.  i have to go to work right now, but someone out there reading this does not.  use their tactics against them.  gather critical information.  prepare a script.  become the federal trade commission.  record the call.  post it.

I have gotten at least 2-3 calls a week for the warranty scam, and also for the lower you interst rate scam. I only seem to be getting this on my sell phone number and have switched the phone for key board answer only so I can check the number. It is a real pain in the a**. When I do a dial back I get a message that the phone number has been disconneted. If I ever find out how these people are they are going to meet my friend Mr. Smith and Mr Wessen.

I've been getting a call from a random number almost everyday for the last week. This is one of the numbers that called. Glad I don't answer unknown numbers.

its an extended warrenty scam,..wait for them to pick up.  tell the rep-who will try to keep talking over you to stop calling.  and if they do, report them to the attorney general's office.  they are breaking the law

got a call from this person and i live in Hawai'i.  When we called it back it said it was disconnected...
