Call the FBI ( Scam from Africa )

Called me 3 times, called back 2, got a message the number was not in use. Unknown called me two times, picked up the 3rd time, some "Amy" wanting to sell me car insurance, told her not to call me or else I'd be taking legal action. IF they call you again you can sue.

Have called seven times in the last two or three hours. Left a blank voicemail message one time. Upon answering, there is silence, a slight beep, then a pretty normal-sounding recording of a woman claiming to be Amy calling about saving on your car insurance. She inquires if you have time to talk, but if you do not respond, the call will just disconnect. I would like to try responding next time, to see how far it goes. If someone has figured out how to talk to a real person, please post. Not that I think it will do me any good, but it might relieve some of the stress of nonstop calls during the workday.

Got a call from this number. Auto insurance something. Definitely robot. Added to my phone's Blacklist.

Repeatedly calls, doesn't speak, doesn't leave message.

I think that this is a robot-call from politician. Called back number message received "number not in use".

Yeah so I just answered a call from this number. It took me saying hello several times for someone to come on and say "hi this is Amy calling to let you know that your car insurance payments will be reduced this year due to new laws" (or something like that. I said, "okaaaaaaay, I don't know why you're calling me from Illinois because I don't live there". She said "well I'm just calling to let you know that new laws will change your insurance payments; what's your zip code". I [stupidly] answered and she said "ok, I'll have a representative call you back then. Hang up.

Waiting for my credit card to be stolen now. I say just tell them to remove your number if they call you.

Also, she sounded like a computer.

I got a call about the same time as everyone else.  It sounded automated as hell and asked if I had time to talk.  I said no to see if that would end the call.  "She" then said it wouldn't take that long or something and I said alright.  And I can hear the delay like when a computer is registering your answer.  And she asked me my zipcode.  I answered that.  And then she started to say something else I don't remember but I said "Wait is this a person or a robot?".  This is where things got weird because I was certain it was a computer at first. She laughed and said "Oh sorry do I sound that bad today?" I wondered if I just called human a robot.  I said "Wait you're kind of freaking me out right now".  And then she kind of went automated again and said sorry and continued with some other question.  I said hello a few times during the conversation to try to get a human response and I didn't.  I eventually I just said ummmmm and hung up the phone.  I'm still not sure if I was talking to a human or computer the whole time.

recieved a random call this afternoon from an unknown caller, looked up the number and its a cell phone from chicago IL. My guess is its the Bears general manager, Phil Emery, trying to recruit me.

I have repeatedly gotten a call from this number   773 904-2292   It won't leave a message and will not answer If you say hello.

Something to do with auto insurance. 8 times so far today

National insurance company. I waited and talked to a live person and told her to quit calling me. Take my name off the list. And everyone is complaining about their continuous calls. She said she would take my number off the call list

supposed non-profit associated with state farm auto insurance. same details as others above. picked up once, told person not interested, still getting calls. Only rings 3 times. Won't stop calling me. f@cking @ssholes. telemarketer/non-profit. Garbage

Called 4 times in an hour and a half.

Have called me flipping 10 times today, so annoying!

7 times today so far. Has to be a telemarketer. What a PITA! One time I got to hear something about auto insurance, the rest are hang ups.

Called and after a few seconds a recording about auto insurance comes on.  They have called me 3 times today already.

Called me for the first time out of the blue today at 10.  They have called 5 times in the last two hours.  Ignored first three calls, answered fourth to hear an automated message about random car insurance (obvious scam) so I hung up.  Called a fifth time and I answered, waited, and it just hung up after 5 secs.  Freakin annoying as hell.
