I received a call from this number and asked why they were scamming and hung up called again cussed at him and he cussed back a real attorney woudl not cuss back definetly a scam

Just received a call from 775-229-1054.  Checked my ID Caller to see who it was...did not recognize the number and so I didn't answer.  Scum Bags didn't leave a message!  Bunch of idiots!  I am so fed up with these types of calls!!!  No sense in being in the DNC List...

Yes, it's a scam.  Per the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) you should NOT pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter showing you owe a debt and that your caller has the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this debt validation letter within five days of their first call is a violation of federal law.  It is also illegal to threaten people with arrest, charges, wage garnishment etc to intimidate them into paying an alleged debt.  Please read the info below:

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

OMG I have been recieving calls from the same guy.. Threatening to send a legal officer to my job if I didnt pay $1327.00 up front and if I went to jail I would be paying atleast 6000.00 saying I owe money for some loans.. I received a message from a man stating to be Sr. Attorney John and I was told that I would be arrested if I didn't pay him over $6000.00 because of an internet loan that I had taken out. He screamed at me and said I would be arrested at my home or my job. I decided to google this guy and found several complaints about him on several different sites. I was so distraught that I called my pastor for advise and he said this did not sound like any attorney and since I hadn't been  notified by the state of Tenn. regarding a judgement against me that I should not pay him any money. This guy speaks with a strong Indian accent, I suggest everyone beware, this is a scam call. I caller I.D. said he was calling from California. DON'T GIVE THIS GUY ANY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call today from him. He called from San Diego number of 619-735-7617. He had a real bad accent and really rude. What really scares me is that he had personal information of mine. He said I would be arrested on Monday for charges that I didn't know anything about. This guy needs to be stopped.

He is already register as a scammer with GreenDot Money Packs.. Dont give this a***ole any money..! He needs to burn in Hell..!

Contact the police department... he will probably be calling you from the San Diego area too..!I called the district attorney's office in Nevada and they dont have anyone with that name... and they said that they receive other callers staying the same and they were the one that told me to contact the police.. he will probably ask you to give him numbers of GreenDot money pack cards... dont..!

I got a call on 7/24/2013.  It was scary.  I thought it was a man harassing me that I had previously talked to from on online dating site who was originally from India.  This man hung up on me three times and screamed at me.  He threatened I would be arrested, and he had my old address from 8 years ago.  What kind of scam is this?  How is he trying to get money by threatening that I will be arrested. How did he know this was my cell phone number tied to that old address????  This company/individual should be shut down.

The person that called me also ID himself as Attorney John Marsh-just called him back and
asked him what kind of Attorney answers his OWN PHONE!!!!

I just received a call from 1-775-299-3737 saying I would be arrested and someone has
a case against me!!!  Caller not from USA TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO REPORT HIM AND HIS NUMBER TO OHIO ATT GERERAL OFFICE AND HE HUNG UP!!

Got this call and it scared the hell out of me. Said the same thing you all heard then wished me the best of luck in my case. At first I asked why I was called and left my phone #. Later I looked up the area code for the # they left and saw it was in Reno NV. Did a search online for this Reno Nevada Senior Attorney John Marsh and saw he was not in the directory for lawyers in Reno, NV and then found this site and saw I wasn't alone in this. I called back and left them know that I did the search and told them what I found.  Then I told them that they would be getting call from a someone I know with ties to the federal government. I went on to wish them the best of luck with that call.

Got a message today stating I was going to be arrested had charges against me. Male with thick Indian accent saying to call attorney John Morse . it was a very strange message!

I do not know who this scammer is but I got the same call, I have no loans and never have.
 These people must be stopped, they are trying to rip people off.

Just received message stating the same as others - a case against me and I would be arrested.

I just received a voice message from this number. The message stated I was going to be arrested for some legal case, however did not provide specifics. The accent sounded Indian and I have been receiving similar fraud calls from different numbers. I don't think the call is really from the United States, even though it is listed with a NV area code.

I just received a call from this person talking about a legal case against me and to call Sr. Attorney John Marsh.  I called back and received a generic voicemail.  His accent was thick and he's been reported to Scambook as a scammer trying to get money.  Although the number shows up from Nevada it sounds like he's calling from overseas.  Definitely a scam.

I just received a call from this ph # and it was a recorded message stating that I needed to contact them immediately or I would be arrested. The voice was not from USA, sounded like someone from Iraq. It is very frustrating.
