Called 07/20 at 6:20pm. Did not answer. Did not leave voicemail.

Just got called by this number

I answered, they had my last name. Wanted me to mail out brochures or something to my neighbors. I hung up.

caller id says: LEUKEMIASOCIETY

They call frequently (at least one per day), even on weekends (and evenings after dinner on Sunday).  

I also have calls with the same callerid from different area codes: 435, 208, 801, and 866.

geez, they call more than the Sierra Club does.

Call came from the Fish Lake/Reno Nevada area to Kansas at 18:53 hours on 5-14-09. Call not answered and no message left. It is the Leukemia Society trolling for donations.

Numerous calls, differen numbers, all times of the day and night.  Called 1-800-955-4572.  Ptessed 1 for english, then zero.  They said they would remove my number from list.  I hope they really do it

Talk about a great way to alienate people!!  Hello Leukemia Society....They probably hire these scam fundraisers who take 90% of the money off the top before any goes to charity.

When I blocked two of their number, they immediately started calling from one of their other numbers.  I'll try calling the 800 number to get them to stop calling.  Wonder how they get our numbers?

Please stop calling me.  I don't want to donate to your society.
Remove me from your calling list.  You are becoming very irritating.
Not a good way to get people to donate to your cause.

Added to my ITP black list so they will stop making my phone ring.

Leukemia Society called at 8 a.m.  How rude can you get at that hour?  Totally unacceptable.  Take me off your calling list and DO NOT CALL AGAIN.  I wouldn't give a cent to anyone who got me out of bed that early.

Charities are exempt from the do not call list restrictions.

Called that number but it must have been after hours.  Tried to leave a message but had to enter my telephone number to do it.  Kept telling me I hadn't entered enough digits, even after 2-3 tries.

Got a call from this number, but it was live person that sounded like John Wayne. Strangely he asked for , "the mister of the house". I told him wrong number and he hung up.

8pm - hung up when machine picked up.  They sponsor Triathlon events where the participants must raise several thousands of dollars in order to compete and the participant is responsible for out of pocket dollars if they have not met the goal pre-set by the Leukemia Foundation.  I am disappointed with their phone solicitation.

unwanted calls from Lukemia Society

One call yesterday from this number and ID was Leukemia Society.
Today (Sunday) same number but caller ID is Dyer NV

We keep getting calls everyday from this number and when we answer the phone someone just sits there on the line and doesn't say anything.  It's very frustrating.

Called 1800-955-4572 Dialed 0 and asked to be removed, they were friendly.

Call 1800-955-4572 (dial 0) to speak to someone and they will remove you from there calling list.  It is the Leukemia Society

I keep getting this call.  My number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST! How did they get my number?

I am called 2-3 times a day from this number--no one is ever on the line--PLEASE stop calling me

I contacted the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society about this number, and they verified it is one of theirs.

The respondent said "We are in the midst of our pledge campaign.  Telemarketers must respond within a specific amount of time--seconds from the time someone picks up.  However, if the "computer dialer" has already moved to the next record that could have resulted in the lagged time before disconnecting. The number is a legitimate number. My apologies for the inconvenience."

Caller ID says "LEUKEMIASOCIETY."  Caller hung up when I answered.  Possibly an auto-dialer.
