I got 2 of these this week. One was Heyyy _____ and another Heyaaa _____. They both used my "official" name, and not the one I go by that everyone would use if they were sending me a text message like that. I'm pretty sure they are spam bots to check if it is an active number they can call-spam you with later. DO NOT ANSWER. If it is someone you know, they will probably send another message with a proper explanation, or call you. They most likely got our names and numbers through either Facebook or the Sony Playstation hack.

I got a message from laylagirlie80 saying no add me to yahoo messanger. Then when I said seriously who is the no response for a bit. Then I got sorry no battery life. But it was from a 3042391517

There were no further responses.  How did they get my cell phone number and attach it to my name?

I have an iPhone so the text looks just as follows:

oh no I have no signal ;(

There were no further responses.  How did they get my cell phone number and attach it to my name?

I got the same Text heyyyy _______ I texted by who is this? and they responded with "A.D.D. me on y! msngr.. id is laylaflirty66"

I received the same message heyyyy (my name) via text.

got a text message from this number, and they even knew my name. They said heyyy _______ and I replied who is this? they did not respond and when I called, it was a voice message stating the person you are trying to reach is not available to take your call, they will be notified that you called.
