this number called me and they told me they have all my info email and social Ip adress telling me i owe 300 and if id ont pay it i will got to jail and warrant out for my rest. They wont stop calling. I did reseach and Found this number showing up on many list of it being a scam.

got the same call today and scared me to death, i am an elderly lady can't take such harrasement i called my attorney was told it was a scam.

I just got a call from Vincent as well, telling I am being sued, I said ok by who, he said I will read you this affidavit, I said so you are reading from a script, he said no, I said if you are a real attorney you will tell me right off the bat who is suing me in Nevada...It's a scam don't be afraid of them....Need to find a way to put these people out of business.

I was going to say at first I didnt believe then he started having me scared but I looked the number up and found this site. I was told I would have I was being sued for 300 and if i don't pay I was going to have a warrant out for my arrest. Everything you both said happened.

This happened to me as well. He called me on my cell and told me i was being sued for $300.00 for a payday loan a applied for. While it is true i applied for a loan, I never received it because my bank would not allow the loan into a prepaid card so I never got. It sounded so convincing, I believed him at first. Every time i called in he said law office. But something in me tld me to question it. I went to the Nevada courthouse website to look up the case number he gave me and it wasn't even there. There was no status or anything as he said. I also looked up the number 7759960230 and found this sight. I found the Ken Thompson law offices and found them in New York not Reno. I looked up Vinent Chhabria, as he spelled it that way for me. I called him again, confronting him with all the info I found, plus this website. There's too many people with the same story, Vincent Chhabria calls and says you are being sued for failure to pay a loan and asks you to wire money from  western union. he claims he works for Ken Thompson. He's also operated under 7759960201. I know a thing or to about law. When you are called to court they give you a summons, through the mall. I did not receive said summons, and when he called he said Payday loans had tried to contact me several times via phone and e-mail to pay back loans. This did not happen however. This man prayed on my fears threatening me with a warrant for my arrest. It was insane. Please dont fall for this guys charade

Its a scam, they tell you youre being sued and all this junk but you can avoid jail if you send them some money.

Yup me too! But he spelled it Vincent Chabria. Claims to be an attorney representing an online payday loan company. He called me at work! He had my SS#, my email, (supposedly) my IP address on my computer (not sure how I find that and dont remember the number he gave me), and an old bank account number (I had closed that account almost a year ago). Indian accent. I am certian this is Caller ID spoof (Google it). Also told me I was being sued for cyberspace crime of financial fraud. Said I could incur legal fees/charges in excess of $7,500 and could spend up to 7 months in jail in my "local jail" (didnt even know the name of it in my city). Said he couldnt fax me paperwork and the company will send me a reciept for payment once the payments are made in full. I do have an online loan (dont ever do this btw!), but I am certain that this guy is NOT a valid lawyer, as I could not find any laywer named "Vincent Chabria" in the Reno, NV area. There is an attorney Vincent Chhabria in California, but I do NOT think this is the same person. Just do your research before you do anything!
