Calls repeatedly, asking for someone who is not me. Foreign, hard to understand, Nothing but a bunch of BS!
I tell her she has the wrong number but they continue to call back. I have even told them I am the person they was looking for (after many unsuccessful attempts at getting the calls to stop). That only causes them to launch into a sales pitch for something I have no idea about nor can understand. When I ask them to slow down and explain it, it usually results in a hang-up.
The calls have been so persistent that it has become war. I actually purchased a small air horn - the kind you hear at sporting events and blast that into the phone whenever they call. This procedure has had some effect, because the calls have become much less frequent. I will continue this policy until they stop completely.

I got a call from 777-889-5189 today twice. It is a result of stolen ID. They got my credit card number and charged to it last week. I since have canceled the card and reversed the charge. I even found the ID of the person who stole my card number. I know his name, address, phone number, nickname, online alias and have names of his friends and family. The retard was stupid enough to put his personal information in there with the purchase. I think that 777-889-5189 is dial though number that a company uses to mask their ID. Block this number!

I have received two missed calls from this number in the last 4 hours. I'm afraid to call it back in thinking it may be one of those $50 a minute charge things.

I got a call from 777-889-5189 this morning, but they did not leave a message. When I tried calling that number back, I got a recording saying "you must dial a 1 or 0 before the area code", even though I DID dial a 1 before the 777 aread code. Also, instead of a name showing up on caller ID, it said "Name Not Found".

I had 7 calls yesterday which my caller ID said were Unknown Callers, the last time they left a recording on my machine. The background noise was so loud I wasn't sure if there was actually someone trying to say something to me. Today the caller ID gave me this number. Again they left a recording on my answering machine but I wasn't able to distinguish a single word. Any ideas?
