It's one of those "Congratulations, you have won a free cruise" calls.  Called yesterday from one number, today from another.

just now received a call from (778) 807-9595 on a (416) cell.  I was busy so I declined the call.  They left  no message.  Just now I returned the call (a B.C. area code) and the recorded message 'claims' the purpose of the call was to invite me to "participate in a survey" and now the time has closed.  blah blah blah.  

BUT, it did give me the option of removing my number from their roster, so I did "press 9".  Their response?  "Thank you".

We'll see if they call again.

Scam telemarketing in spite of do not call list

Got a call on Saturday from 778-807-9480. Unfortunately picked it up, as the downstairs phone doesn't have Caller ID and I was expecting another call. It was a cruise scam. Didn't answer this one as it came at the same time of day, but given the very similar number, I'm guessing it's the same people.

Those fooled by the "free cruise" scammers, will be left waiting at the dock for a ship that never comes, while the scammers sail away with their credit card information!

We have had 5 calls in the last 3 days from this number. I answer but don?t say anything. Normally ?if? it?s a legitimate caller, the person would say ?hello? or something!!
I think its one of those ?congratulations? calls!!

Dead air, but from others, it sounds like the free cruise phishing scam again

Received two calls  from this number this morning, 9am and a bit later. Did not leave message.  I am trying to find the caller on line and it got me here.

Didn't answer -dead air. 9:30 am.

Didn't answer - no message left except for a click (sounds like auto-dialer).

Was woke up and let machine answer but no message. So much for getting rest after night shift

Your tax funded Do Not Call agency working for (against?) you.  Government employees showing up for another contribution to their indexed Defined Benefit pension fund with health care benefits. Thank you Government of Canada for spending my money wisely.

Same thing here no one answers or says anything. We're getting these every morning from different numbers, I keep blocking them but every day a new number with no one at the other end.

I was correct I blocked this number and they managed to call through again while I was typing the last post. Interesting.

Yep it's a "survey" to establish valid phone numbers for future calls like lower interest rate scams Etc. Naturally robot call and since surveys are not a DNC violation. Odd thing though I already had this number blocked. Monday morning sum lol

Got message, "Congratulations, you have won.....", then hung up.

Got a phone call saying "You have qualified for a trip to the Bahamas". Hung up at that point!! I am now going to block it!!

Recorded message left offering "free" cruise for 2 people if you complete a survey. Methinks I have come across this one before....many times!

Rceieved call and went to voicemail with no message being left. Looks like the telemarketers have a new number!

Just received a robocall from 778-807-9595: "Congratulations, you've just won an all expense paid cruise..."

This number has been calling me and no one answers.

After receiving robocall saturday morning from 778-807-9480, I get another call but from this 778-807-9595 number.

778 area code now blocked due to one idiot.

Received call in NL at 11 a.m.  Dead air call.
