area code 780 is Northern alberta , NOT Ontario as others claim

I got a call from this number and a message from a friend.  She left another telephone number and when I try both, they are constantly busy.

This person asked for my husband and hung up when I asked  to take a message. I t caused a bit of an argument. It's weird to see th number here. I googled it just to check

most of ythe people above are right it is a calling card we missed a call earlier from this number then when they called back my wife refuded to answer thinking it was a telemarketer but its not i knew this. its someone trying to contact us using a calling card. "MY IN LAWS "  lol ha ha i guess we missed there call

These calls just started for me too -work and cell. I never answer calls I don't know and they don't leave a message. If it isn't important enough to leave a message, it isn't important.

Okay everyone calm down. Turns out.. this number is a phone card number.  My son was frantically trying to reach me using up his LD phone card minutes and mom was being to paranoid to answer. So its just one of your peeps using a Long Distance phone card to reach you.

its calling repeatedly between my cell and my home phone.  Driving me crazy!!  Very persistant.. 8 calls so far tonight..

have any of you signed up for any work at home scams like Hafren Furnishings Company? My friend JUST got a call from this number and she didnt answer it, but there was a voicemail(even though it was just a click of them hanging up)and she mentioned that she gave her phone number to the scammers before she realized it wasnt real.

Straight up it's a long dist call card ### ... I know for a fact ...any one worried , call your friends back , you know the ones that are sketchey ! ask them if they  havea long call card bet they do ! mota woorie............

This number is calling me at all times of day and night the laast call was on January 1, 2008 at 5 in the morning, but when I answer, there is no one there.  I have called the number back, but it does not even ring.

I got a call from this number too, no one left any messages so i decided to investigate it.  Seem to be a calling card.

Who keeps calling my cell and my work from this number? I can't take personal calls at work but I can't identify them to refuse them.

Hi just got the same number showing up on my cell so it might be some one using a calling card but dont know any one in alberta that would be callin me just wanted to add to the post evey one else has been getting

My friend JUST got a call from this number and there was no voicemail left but she told me she gave her number to a work at home scam based in the UK before she learned that it wasnt real. Im thinking maybe it could be them?

This is a calling card number. If someone uses that type of calling card, this number comes up. I know this, as i work for a phone company and just did some research on it.

This is an Edmonton AB number

The Number is from a Military Base in Ont. Canada.

I keep getting calls from this number, and every time I answer no one is there. I try calling it back but all I get is a bussy signal. This must be some kind of crank caller with nothing better to do.

Just receive a call from this number and no msg left...???
