Got an meail from now "John Evans" about a Check N Go that I supposedly owe for 3,758.32.  emailed from John Evans [client-processing01@live.com]. So, I guess he has a new email address or server he's working from. I'm contacting the local news and the FBI..  I worked for the federal government.. Can't let this one go..

I notice those John P Evans,my ex's name, u all said in Feb this year sent emails...not possible...he was in jail until march.  Scammers get any name, buy email lists or find them free online...you also can do an IP search if you look at the email header,  that will tell you where the email was sent, country, etc.

I got an email and they used my married name and said to call this #. They now some personal info and gave me this number to contact John P. Evans.

Who is this why didn't they put a company name. I think it's a scam so I will ignore it.

Just got this email but they are using  a different name, however same phone number. Be aware, scamers have nothin better to do and nothing to loose.

john p evans...really has lots of connections for all these dead wealthy people...does use common relatives names to look legit.

i Googled the number and arrived here.As Above, he calls himself John P Evans. We are Australians and how he got my wife's nick name can only be through Senior Net which is a secure site. So I figure he might have got access to one of our American friends address book. Thanks to you all for this heads up, we just delete it. Thanks again.

This guy is still in action now he is John P Evans. I just received the email yesterday. He had my nick name and address in the email. Not my given name. And all my mail and legal papers always has my full name on it. Said to contact him and he had e-mailed before.  

He used correspond@36912.com

Just received.  Had my name and address correct.

Two e-mails today, John P Evans,
forged "from" addresses <correspond@36913.com> and <correspond@36911.com>,
"reply to" addresses pe3767@gmail.com and pe3768@gmail.com,
but from the header info, the mails were really sent from accounts on comcast.net and rr.com...

Got the exact same email from John P. Evans twice.  Yesterday and today.

Same here....this guy needs to die.

Got the following email in my spam box. They used my former last name not my current last name. How do they get this personal information! I would say it's spam!

I called the number and must have got his boyfriend or something, person on the line said to reply to the email (make it valid to sell...hint). Thanks for posting this on the internet and thanks Google for finding it. Dont want to be another victim.
