Ahh!! Right now, it's 10:30 pm EST, and this number called me. It woke me up, after i had JUST fallen asleep. When I answered I said hello, i heard some breathing so I said hello again and then they hung up! People are such jerks!

Funny, no one said anything about debt collectors, it's people using a calling card!
People use the site to find out who's calling them, which is  usually debt collectors and telemarketers and scammers..
As far as I'm concerned, those people can take a flying leap. I'm mourning the loss of my mother and twin brothers, (they would've been 53 on Sunday) all in under 4 months.

All of you people sound like a bunch of deadbeats - answer the phone - if you don't owe money say so - then if they call you you have rights - if you do owe money pay up. You can not run from your problems. I know you are all losers because if your life was based upon referrals and networking which is what all people do who are successful - every time you saw a new number you would see it as a new opportunity. Instead you see it with fear and such fear that is drives you to a site like this. Change your life! Open the windows and let the sunshine in - today will be a great day!

Even though they called one time at 3 in the morning.... it was a lady asking to speak to Paul... I live in North Carolina... it could have been a legit wrong number.... so far they've only called one time...

Hi, my friend called me from this number today (the reason I'm googling it is because I was trying to figure out where it was - I couldn't understand him when I asked or the receptionist).  Anyway, it's a Hospital - my friend had a mental episode and called me from this number so I know it's definitely that.

I work for a construction company in NYC and we have recieved calls from this number every day for the past 2 years or so. They call twice a day within minutes of eachother, and press a key and hang up. Wouldn't be so bad if they actually said something. Just curious to who has THAT much time on their hands to call us everyday at 3pm.

Got a call to my cell from 781-613-6500. I did not answer it and it did not leave a message. When I called back it says that this number has been disconnected and no longer in service

Well hnk...if you "know these people" then why don't you call them & tell them to stop harrassing people.  This isn't a case of a wrong number you stupid a**...look at the number of people receiving calls.  I've been receiving calls on my cell for over 2 years and it's starting to piss me off.  The kid on the other end just screams into the phone & then hangs up.  I have reported this to my local police dept who has obtained a court order to have phone records pulled/traced.  If you do, in fact, know who this is; I'd advise you to tell them to stop.

I'm of the opinion hnk is affiliated with the calling party and is just spreading misinformation. The number of times this number calls numbers in our block of DIDs is staggering.

The caller ID for this has been spoofed, and the 781-613-6500 isn't a valid number to begin with. No one knows who they REALLY are.

Its the jails outgoing phoneline system u can't call into it ......someone in jail dosent like   u  don't worry I get then on my house phone all thed time around 10pm/...my ex is in there in dedham or norfolk county jail!

i keep getting a call from this number,i don't answer (screen all my calls,with answering machine if i don't know number)they hang up when machine picks up.  I started recieveing this caller feb.,2009 they better stop.  Reported to phone company,  i have paid to trace caller. police are notifed due to 3 reports prior to me they will conviced this person.

This is definately a calling card. just recieved a call from this number,tried to call back,disconnected. it was an old family friend of 30 years.he started leaving a message,we got disconnected and i tried to call him back but it wouldnt go through.7816136500. that is all this is. looked it up on google and found this page.

It is the ID of a calling card  Co located in MA...and the caller could be anyone you  may know or not.
It is one of the cheapest calling card in MA around $ 0.03 a minute and  can be used in any state to call anywhere in the US.
It isn't very likely to be a telemarketer because  0.03 a minute is too expensive for them to call thousands of numbers a day.
A friend of mine uses this card to call me from 30 miles away in FL...rather than pay $ 0.12 to the local telco.

Just got a call from a relative in Maine (207 area code) but my caller ID showed THIS number and the word 'Massachusetts' in the text field.

I got a call from this number, and it confirmed that it is a type of calling card.  When he left a message, it was someone I was expecting, but I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number (not to mention I was annoyed that syncing my iPhone got interrupted because of it.  ;-) )

i got a call from this number and the message left was that i was not available for a phone hearing regarding my license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of MAINE. 781 is a MASSACHSETTS area code. WTF? i called the 207 number left in the msg and was told that they would page the person and have them call me back. WTF, everything is outsourced now...
