I've complained to the "Do not Call registry" and they do nothing about it. Why are they even in business? Irritating!

Repeated calls and hangups.  I don't know how many times they have called, but it appears to be telemarketing, or phishing for personal information.

This number showed up to be from Hay's Kansas. I answered, and a guy asked for my wife, I said "She's not available" and asked who was calling, "Hay's State Trooper, let her know we called" and then the SOB hung up.  Be weiry of who calls, I get call's even after turning my home ### into the "NO CALL LIST"  This is Bullsh!t that a company can take any number listed in your local public phone book and just random call ya.  Let'm keep calling, I'll answer, don't care who it is, but they sure do hear who I am.   Remember those who call you are just doing a job, its up to you if you want to be nice to jump right in their @ss.  Live America Strong. Ohh-Rah.

This number said it was Make a wish foundation...they have called me before lots of times almost on the verge of harassment. Why don't these calls get investigated?

This call is asking for donations the State Troopers Association, and its from Hays,Kansas according to my caller ID, they hung up on me when I said  I would donate to them.

Multiple phone calls

Well, they called me once a day for about a week on my cell phone. I never answered. Others on here are talking about magazine renewals, but I've never subscribed to a magazine before. I don't know how they got my number, unless they are just randomly dialing.

Why on Earth would you post your number and your mother's on a public blog?  I suggest you remove this, and if not possible, then whoever moderates this should remove it.

They have been call 3 times a day for a week..

This place tries to renew magazines and take extra for it.  the publisher does not hire them but they are able to geta list of subscribers somehow.  They tried to get me to renew my subscription to Rachael Ray saying it was about to expire and I can get a special rate of $43.95.  My mag expires in 2012 and I get a better rate with the publisher.  They are trying to make money--$36 for the publisher and the rest for themselves.

I also have gotten many. I don't pick up but that hasn't stopped them.

They called today (23 Feb 2011) for a magazine renewal of the Rachael Ray cooking magazine which my wife had already renewed.  They said their company was "Ink Corporation" or something like that.  What is hard to tell is where do they get the name and the telephone number except from the publisher's database. In pulling our records we had a one year subscription that was renewed on 06/21/2010 and is subject to renewal on 07/06/2011.  So this is the publisher hiring some company to try to get a renewal 5 or 6 months ahead of the expiration date. Even if we never gave them our telephone number, it would be easy to get it since they have of course our name and address. Another thing that threw me off was that the call came from a 785 area code which is our area code in Kansas.

asked for me by name and then asked if i was still getting espn magazine here....they hung up before I could answer no.   STRANGE.

Got called, background noise but no message left

This number calls my home every couple of hours, I dont know anyone with a 785 area code, so I dont answer.  They never leave a message.  Getting very annoyed.

3 calls in about a 2 hour period, the last being at 7:08pm, plus 1 call from the number earlier today (mid afternoon) on my cell phone.  if the same number calls more than once, i can only see the latest time they called.  no voice mails left by caller.

picked up this call, sounded like a call center in backround no one responded
then it hung up

Caller using this number callsat least  3 or 4 times a day every day..I am 89 and find these calls very disturbing  and it upsets me that caller doesn't leave a message...I don't answer but a ringing phone really bothers me. I am on the do not call list..

Called asking for my teen-age son. I said he wasn't there and asked who was calling and they hung up.

Called my cell asking for my old roommate, WTF? She hasn't lived with me in 4 years, and my cell phone was never a contact point for her.  Said he was in Chicago, which is where she grew up, how they made that connection, I'll never know.

I have received 2 calls from this # today but did not answer them, because I do not recognize the #.  They did not leave a message.

this number has called my cell 5 times today!  they never leave a message.  I haven't answered.  I wish they would just leave a message so I can know who they are

I received 3 calls from this number today and they keep hanging up.

Got calls from this number and no one would talk they would finally hang up.

Forgot to mention the calls have been to my cell phone, how on earth are they getting my number? UGH!

Got my first call this morning. If I don't know the number or there is no ID, I let it go to voicemail. No message was left.  I keep getting more and more telemarketers, so I assume it was another one of those.

My caller ID said Hays Kansas; asked for my mother.  I told them she doesn't live here.  That's not true, she does, but they don't need to know that.  At least the calls to my mother will eventually stop.

I have gotten like 3 calls from this number today.  I don't know anyone in that area code so why would I pick it up?!  It's very annoying to get continuous random calls all day then to not leave a message.

Why can't our goverment stop harressing phone calls. What was the "do not call" deal all about??
We need to have the FCC do its job or get rid of them!!

Contact your phone company and see if they have the Do Not Disturb feature, that way when someone calls you, you don't hear it ring unless a PERSON pushes 1 to connect with someone at that number.   Since most calls are computer generated, the computer doesn't understand the command so the call doesn't go through to you  :)

Also, many don't know that even if you are on the do not call list, non-profit and charities can still call ~ what is sad is so many of them are RUDE and most charities today are a farce.  Check their background before ever donating a dime to them ~ one is better off to give to a local charity, that way you know it is going for what you intended.
