It means they hijacked your email account. I got an email from my google account saying my password had been changed. When I tried to change it the 785-338-8183 appeared where my real phone number should have been so if you asked for them to send the number to fix it the the person who hijacked your account gets the number also. Lucky for me I don't use that account.

Got a text from this number at 1218 a.m. February first. Something about my new Google password. I haven't made any changes so I don't know what they're talking about. Looks like a scam
