I used to get a call from this scam/company in 2008 for Timothy Seizmore. I told them to stop calling me and that its the wrong number and they did. A week ago, I started to get a call from these guys again under the (786)228-5570 number asking for Timothy Seizomore again.

What do I do, to have them stop calling me?

Could u pls email all info regarding consumer law on dept collectors in dtate if Florida please ( FDCA )...I currently have no income cause my unemployment benefits extensions have been on hold since 12/28/13 and can't reapply until 6/23/14.....please......tmasseheyder@ymail.com

I get repeated calls from this automated system to my new cell phone number. Last fall I confronted the debt collector and explained that I did not know the woman named in their message and this is a new cell phone number. I told them I was on the do not call list and was going to report them because I have no business with their company and they are not allowed to call me. They stopped calling for a few months, but the computers have put my number back in rotation. I have answered a few times and the automated system sometimes gives you an option to press 2 if you are not the person they are trying to reach, which does no good as they will still continue to call. The best way to deal with these people is silence. Do not talk to these people or machines. I have their contacts in my cell phone set to a silent ringtone that does not interrupt me and I am looking for another app to hang up on them so I do not get the voicemails.

they will not stop calling; leave auto message on voice mail as i will not answer.  they are crazy.  

Call all the time and sent a letter regarding an old debt of my husband's (2000 or 2001).   My husband is totally disabled and this upsets him greatly.  I will not answer them.  

I get a call from the number looking for a "Heidi Lamber" for the past 8 years!! I've never answered it but always get a recorded message that they have an urgent business matter. I'll get several calls a week for a bit then won't hear from them again for months or even a year.  I don't know this person so have never contacted the company as I alway hope they will stop calling...

They keep calling back to back, eveyday. I did answer once, but they would not give me any info as to why they call (only to give them money). If this Everest Asset Management is a "real"company they would explain who and what they are and send a letter to "collect".

Just got a call from this number for the first time and didn't recognize it so I let it go to voicemail and then decided to search it in google. The message stated that they are looking for a Jason Essex which I have never known anyone by that name. My number is a prepaid one so I guess it's possible that someone has had this number before. I used to get calls for a Linda Bobo but they stopped about a year after I got the phone. This is a new one to me, but seeing what this company is, I'm thinking they just randomly call around asking for various names and demanding payment on "past" debts. I'm never gonna answer and I'm so glad that there are websites like this so I can avoid being scammed.

This 786 228-5570 call a few times a day and just sits with the line open saying NOTHING!!
Then doesnt even leave messgs. Sick of it!!

It is indeed a debt collector. They called for a former employee (sort of an employee) that hasn't been in this place for at least 7 years. That right there confirms this is a scum-sucking debt collector that bought old, un-collectible debts for pennies hoping some poor sap gets pressured into paying what they are not legally responsible to pay. Do NOT pay and do NOT talk with them or answer questions. Just say: 'I have no clue who that person is and do NOT contact me again.'

If you get a call from these guys tell them to cease ALL contact with you and by law they cannot contact you in any way.  I think this 'call center' or whatever it is, is form overseas because it took a long time to transfer my call back & I could tell by the static on the line that I was not talking to anyone in the states.

i think its hilarious that they got my number and say that i owe a debt from 15 years ago and im only 18. Damn I've must have been a a crazy spender at 3 years old...

Threatening phone cdalls.

These people keep calling and threatening me, They say I owe a bill fromm 11 years ago....wrong.

786 228 5570   This is a debt collector calling about very old debts - past 6 years old for my brother.  They call my cell phone. Do not answer or call them back.  If you call them back you could be acknowledging your responsibility for the bill.

Just received a call from this number and when I answered, no one was there.  So, looking up the number I arrived at this site. I don't owe anyone any money so I would imagine they are looking for some one who owes money that used to have my phone number.  (I've only had this phone number since Dec 2011.  I receive calls from various collection agencies looking for various people. I find that telling them that the person does not live here, that I only have just gotten this phone number and if they call again, I will take legal action, usually ends getting the calls.  For those of you who have been receiving similar calls, I would suggest contacting the Florida Attorney General's Office and file a complaint.  Here is their website which has a Complaint link:  http://myfloridalegal.com/
