im guessing that was Samantha making that comment,, and yes u have to go to court first in order to have wages garnished. and as far as them being able to seize assets or serve legal docs. only a law firm court have that authority as well ! call their bluff and tell them you will be waiting on your lawn to see these papers !! scam artists !!!

i received this call from a samantha, she sd i owed money on a loan that i supposedly took bot this is quite awhile so i figured statue of limitation would apply to this debt told them im not interested and they threatened me with the same bull crap!!!!...seems like they contacted my place of employment because i had a garnishment placed against me (called them furious), i need back that money they said i was warned so now in seeking an attorney to help  any advise!!??

I too have  received this phone call. It's now the second time and now I owe $$ on a debit credit card ? How is that possible. I unfortunately paid them some money. So to receive another phone call from KIM SMITH again was just the icing on the cake. I even told here how ironic that you are calling me again !!?? She did not like that. Very pushy. When i asked for proof she also said I can not give it to you unless you make a payment plan !! Well now today I got that nasty call( a message ) saying they are moving in proceeding with litigation in seeking garnishment to have this resolved, GOOD LUCK !!  She had the nerve to tell me Good Luck ! What to do ??!!!  Have they still tried contacting you ??

I received a call from "Kim Smith" today where she left me a voice mail stating that a legal issue had been placed at her office and to call her at 786-269-0018. However the caller ID was 954-237-8094 which is a VoIP address. I was in a meeting and was not able to call her back right away so she called my place of employment a second time and proceeded to ask the receptionist questions about me and about having a summons delivered. When they were going to transfer her to my boss she hung up. I had my attorney call her and she was belligerent and had all kinds of personal information about me. She wound up hanging up on my attorney. Does anyone have an address for this company? They won't give it and I haven't been able to locate it online anywhere.

i received a call from this number stating the i owe a past creditor 1076.99, and if i did not pay she would contact my place of work and harass them. then she said that they would seize my bank account and will see me in court. so i got a email from them stating an address for the business, which is a resident neiborhood. this is the name and number of who called me.

I have lost it with this company. They will not stop calling and I want to report them in the right direction. I am so ticked off with them disturbing uns at night, during nap times etc...

TOTAL SCAM. Called using a name I haven't used in years saying I was being sued. I said if I was they would have the correct name. she said they were going to seize all my assets. Told her good luck and hung up. She called back and said they were going to seize my car and hung up on me. I think this means war!

THIS IS A HUGE SCAM . Some woman called me today using my old last name saying I was being sued. I told her that I haven't had that name for almost 20 years so a lawsuit was b***s***. She then said they were going to seize my assets. Told her good luck and hung up on her. She called back and said they were going to put a lien on my vehicle and hung up on me. Just hang up on them unless you have some free time and want to mess with them.

Hialeah called me from The Mall at 163rd St, Google search also show many businesses on all corners.  She could have even called from the Arby's, or KFC.

The call came from the area of NE 163rd St. And Dixie Hwy,
Tell me who's with me? Call Sprint Spectrum and complain of illegal activity from this #.  If enough of us call she could be Arrested for Fraud.  Just think of the innocent people who are incapable of understanding.  I'm sure she's made money from a few people.
PLEASE LET'S END THIS SCAM NOW!!!  We can also do this with other scammers as well.

I just got a call from them, they asked me if I live at an address that unfortunately is public records. From 10 yrs ago. I asked for a reference number but they only gave me the name of who I owe who is non egsisting... I. Cought them off guard, CALIFORNIA TRUCK... Lol!  I called back and told them they need to stop trying to scam people, after they had no account or reference number.

This Kim Smith hung up on me four times last night. She claimed she was calling from a law firm and refused give me any documentation about this alleged debt.  She said prepare for a summons when I tried to explain that documentation that the debt is owed is required by FDCPA. Her voice mail indicates that she is putting a lien on the car.   She also said that there would be a summons served to employer. The only way she would give me any documentation on this if if i agreed to make payments in an e mail ?  Having been in the collection industry for 20 years this is a total scam. They are making threats and refusing to provide any proof of the debt owed. I want them to stop calling my office and they are refusing to do so. Does anyone have an address for them ? I want to send them a certified letter.

I got a call today from this number. Seems like they get around from reading the rest of the posts here. They said that I was being sued. I refused to give in and "settle" their debt. She said she would send me a summons and told me good luck then she hung up on me. They don't speak very good English either.

Called my mother whom I haven't seen in over (9) years and never lived at her address or used her phone. Stating I was named in a civil suite, and to  call them at 786-269-0018 ext 2004. This in pure desperation. What are they doing - try to scare the elderly into paying fictitious debts belonging to their children. Contact me if you have business with me. How low some people will go in an effort to get something for nothing.

I got a call tonight left on vm saying there was a civil suit against me.  I call them back.  They claim I owe for a payday loan.  I never heard of this company they are claiming I owe. Connie Anderson goes on to say that I was working at a location that I had worked at two years prior to the supposed date of this loan, and said it was sent to a bank account that hadn't been open for over 3 years.  I asked her for her address and she of course refused and then went on to try to offer me a settlement.  I refused stating that none of the information she had about me was correct except my name and the last for of my social. I then got the rude woman telling me that I didn't need the address and they were going to put a lien on my bank accounts or seize my assets like my car.  I said mhm mhm and then said well what is your address and she said why did I need that I explained that I needed it to report her company to the attorney general's office.  I knew at that point I was not going to get an address so I kept egging her on a bit in order to just tick her off.  Needless to say I reported what I had to the PA attorney general's office and she hung up when I said any legal and viable business will give out an address because it is required by law.  She claimed it was not and that I could have a nice day in court.  I said well don't waste your money you have no information that is correct and I have everything to back up that you're trying to scam me and she hung up then.

I keep getting calls for a Chester Tretchock or something like that.  I told them to stop calling..no one here by that name.  Now this woman called.  Very hard to hear.  Sounded like an accent.

I also filed a report with the FTC

Kim called yet again stating my truck would be seized within 24 hours.  I had already told them not to call me and only by usps mail.  I called them back and told them that I had told her not to call me.  She then started repeating that my truck would be seized in 24 hours, and I told her that they have been saying that for months.  She then told me to prepare for a summons, which I responded that I had contacted the city courthouse and they told me it sounded like a scam and not to pay them, which she did not like.  I then repeated again not to call my cell and she got loud and said she would call me every day and every hour if she felt like it.  I told her it would be going to voicemail and I already had VMs of her threatening to seize the truck.  She then said to "prepare for a summons" and hung up.  I would love a summons, then I would know who they are collecting for!

Caller left VM indicating that someone named Florence (last name unintelligible) is named as principal respondent in legal action by their firm. Requested call to their office, second call by these people with same message. The person requested has never lived here. Signal dropouts on voice would indicate overseas as actual origin of call. Voice is British accent English with Indian inflection. Received suspicious SMS the same day on cell phone. Calling party used the name Connie Anderson. Received about 5 other calls this month for people who are not here from various callers.
Please be advised that the wrong name gag is also used by actual collectors to make you call back. Either way it's unethical. Neither type of caller should be dealt with over the phone. Any litigation threat must be backed up by a living, breathing process server.

This number called me, looking for my husband.  She said he had a payday loan in 2008 and she (Kim) was enlisted to collect on this debt.  She did not give me specific information, but claimed that there was a warrant already issued for my husband's arrest.  She said that if I would pay her or set up arrangements that she would have the warrant cancelled.  I made payment arrangements and asked for the name of the original creditor.  She got very upset, but did give me the name of the company.  I researched, and called the company she named.  This company had never heard of my husband.  He had never had an account with them.  I specifically asked if it was possible that the records were deleted because the debt may have been sold to another company.  She said, no.  That the account would still be able to be pulled up, but would show her that the debt was with another company.  I then called Kim back at AI Solutions, and told her what I found out.  This information seemed to make her very angry.  She proceeded to tell me that she would have the warrant served today.  I told her to go ahead, and do so.  It wasn't until this moment that I decided to divulge the fact that my husband works with the District Attorney's office and that I had already been in touch with him.  He had looked himself up, and no warrants, no pending court cases, nothing has been filed with our County, City, or State against either him or myself.  This is where she hung up on me, and we haven't heard from them since.  I did file a police report, but really don't expect much to come of it, because of conflicting jurisdictions.

Dont worry about these people!!! All information on you and me is public such as. Address, vehicle registration, and location of bank. All this is possible from your SSN. No legal action can be taken on any person until paperwork is delivered by HAND straight from the legal offices. I too received a call from Kim Smith, and agrued for 20min more then i should have. Rest assure, that no law firm will fight a small bill owed of $500 in court. Nor will a judge allow a seizure or freezing of a bank account for something that small. The assests out weigh the bill.
If you owed $10 to $20,000 then maybe you would see actions like this where they could sell your car, and take your wages to pay the outstanding debt and reclaim whats theirs. STAY STRONG AND PUSH THEM OFF JUST AS FAST AS THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU. EASY TARGETS THEY WILL KEEP CALLING TILL YOU GIVE IN. HARD TARGETS THEY WILL DROP AND MOVE TO THE NEXT PERSON.

I have received 2 calls from a Kim Smith and she is stating that they are going to seize my car and freeze my bank accounts.  Refuses to mail me the documentation because they mailed it to an old address.  Refused to give me their address so I could send a certified letter requesting the information.
