Relax.  This is a thief and a scammer.  The number is being spoofed from outside the US.  Sometimes they claim to be from a collection service, sometimes from the IRS.  Yell into the phone as loud as you can that you know they are crooks, then hang up.

I have been getting calls about owing money that I have never seen and I JUST turned 18 so I dont think I even have good enough credit to receive the amount of money they are claiming that I owe. I don't know what I should say because they keep threatening to put out warrants and have police arrest me from work or my house. I haven't even paid all my high school fees off how am I supposed to pay off money I never received.

I swear this is happening to me as well. I did inquire about a 'Payday Loan ' in which I never went through with and never received. I continuously keep getting these calls!!! They either go by,'Peter Sensor',Ron Williams" and a few others,,they are all middle eastern and my brother is a REAL Federal Agent and was advised to report phone numbers {which I did} notify my CC company {which I did and they knew allll about this} and now tonight I got another call from a ''John Banks' with the NYC Sherrif's Office and his number is as he says { 646-499-5404} !! This Is TOTAL B***s***!!!!! Please Be Very Careful People!! these Losers are True Scammers and claim to be Law Enforcement Officials,Lawyers,ect.was glad to see this site with others that have been through this also,,{although not happy its happening to you as well} I did try to call back the number 786-272-0241 and it is now disconnected after I said my brother was a Federal agent and a few other choice words which we wont get into},,BE CAREFUL!!!

My wife answers the phone and this guy says his name Peter Spencer and and couldnt even even speak one word of english to have an american name AT ALL and couldnt even tell me the name of the agency he was associated with and said i was being sued..he told me i was a fake and a fraud that i needed an attorney  ..he was being really rude and hateful ..i just received one payday loan and my payment isnt even due til the middle of next month and thats all i got ..how can i stop this  harassment  ??!!!!

Calling and harrassing me saying I owe them money from a pay day loan. Threatning my job and home!!!

Hey I got this call at my job and this person (Justin Miller)  talked to my boss. And told him thar he was calling from a attorney office and don't know what this person told him. The number is786-272-0241 threshold also a area code of(214) that this Miller person is calling from too.this person sounds mid-eastern also.

They told me the same thing.

I originally got a call from 630-529-1659 but they left 786-272-0241 as a call back number. He said his name was Austin Lee and had a heavy middle eastern accent. He said that a case was being processed against me and because I didn't resond to his previous phone calls he would be sending the authorities. I was a little freaked out but after reading the scams associated with these two phone numbers. I'm not worried about it.

Received the same kind of call noted by others.  Said they were filing a criminal suit against me.

Have received several threatening voicemails from a blocked # the most recent today from a David Jackson. I returned the call to the phone number left in the voicemail 786-272-0241 and the lady with an indian accent proceeded to threaten that I was being charged with fraud for non payment of a payday loan. When I asked who this loan was supposedly from, she said Instacash or one of their 100's of partners....yeah nope. She threatened that action would be taken at my place of employment and I would be arrested at my home. She stated she was from the fraud dept of some lawyers office but refused to give further information so I hung up assuming this was some sort of scam considering any american debt collection agency should know better than to make threats.

Got a call from 786-272-0241 at my place of employment stating that he was from an "attorney's office" and his company name was "Financial Crime Dept" and that I was being charged on THREE counts of "fnancial fraud" for a loan I NEVER RECEIVED. With that being said I replied "and who are you representing?" and the man could not even give me a straight answer. I would be lucky if I could even understand him with his heavy Middle Eastern accent. I than proceeded to tell them that what they were doing was illegal and he replied with "....anything else?" and hung up on me!!!

I have the same thing happening to me.  It started over a year ago after I inquired online for a payday loan.  I never ended up getting the loan however.  I finally got them to stop calling by telling them that I was going to call an attornry on them.  Here it is a year and a half later and they are calling my work a few times daily.  I don't know how to get this to stop.

I have received this Call as well claiming they (NORMAN) represented a pay day loan organization.  I told them my loan was current and they insisted it was not.  He got angry, told me i would be served and hung up.

i had a guy name lloy davis he told me the same thing ive looked this number up and its is showing up as a scam all over the place

I just received a phone call from Jason Wayne...his accent is definitely from the middle east. I called him out on his "American" name. Said he was calling from the Financial Crime dept attorney John mcArthur's office. I told him to not call me again. That he is just trying to scam me. Losers!

Just got a  call from a guy who was definitely Middle Eastern Descent named Jason Wayne calling from the Financial Crime Dept. Which he said its an attorneys office..Atty John McArthur. Caller ID said call was coming from Illinois. I called him out on his "American" name. Told him to not ever call the number he called BC it is a business. Told him what he is doing is a scam and illegal. I hung up on him.

I have recieved about 100 calls from a david green saying if i don't pay this debt i will ne arrested and that he wishes me luck on whatever unfolds upon me. He told me that they will only accept money from a green-dot card

Continue to get calls from this person named Ron Williams , says I never call him back so I am either ignoring him or I am on the run.  The number comes up as unknown and I never answer those, however; he does leave agin this nasty message to call or I will be arrested. I told him I have a tracer on my phone, we'll see what happens now!!!

This number keeps calling me and bothering me at work! They tell me they are a federal agency and need me to pay for a loan I never had. He sounds like he may be from the middle east. I hung up on him and he kept calling me at work. I hope by writing this, they stop bothering me.

I Recieved A  Call From Ron Williams Stating That I Was A Suspect In A Download In My State. I Told This Guy I Did Not Know Who He Was And I Was Calling My Local Sheriff's Department. When I Spoke To A Deputy He Said The Number Was Being Placed From Somewhere In Florida. He Advised This Is A Scam...

Just got a call from this jack wagon stating he was calling from the IRS and they were going to sue me if I didn't make a payment by phone... I gave him a payment alright... I posted his number to my facebook and let all my friends call and bug him.
