Do-Not-Call Registry violation - initially, a pre-recorded message pitching a free home security system in return for allowing the company to place their sign in my yard. They would probably want me to pay for the monitoring service. Then offered button pushing options, I talked to Jeff. He wanted my name to remove it from the call list. As the number that was called is for a cell phone, I wonder how my name was on their list vice my phone number. He claimed ignorance regarding how my number was obtained or anything about the Do-Not-Call Registry violation. I have reported this incident to the FCC/FTC.

female recorded voice offering free security system and installation in exchange for posting its signs but if you listen to the message the option is given at the end to press 2 to opt out of further calls or press 1 to accept the offer

Calls me everyday asking me to put in a number for a meeting

Pre-recorded call saying that, "..due to high rate of crime in neighborhood" they were selling security. Called back the number but it went to "Go Meetings" and asked for confirmation number and code.
Don't know if this is coincidence, but I just bought a new battery and it seems that when I forget and give my real number, when I buy something with a warranty, I start getting these calls.

I get calls every other day from 786-358-5411 on my cell. Now if I see the number, I don't even answer but it sure has become annoying. We are on the Do Not Call List but they don't much care.

female recorded voice offering a free security system and installation in exchange for placing their signs outside of your residence but if you listen to the entire message you are given an option to press 2 to be removed from their calling list otherwise pressing 1 is also an option to speak to someone for the offer

3 calls in 2 hours from these people. I was furious, especially after telling the second callerf was told to lose my number. Bottom line is if I want a product, i will look for it. "Nick" told me to go screw myself. Guess next time I will burn their dime, as if they are not selling, they are not making any money. Find a real job...;

If anyone finds out who it is, report them to Citrix so their account can get shut down: http://www.gotomeeting.com/fec/antispam

I've received 2 calls since yesterday. As noted above, its a GoToMeeting number. Looks like they're abusing that service for their own benefit...
Anyone have the name of the company or a phone number for them?

Same story. Recorded message for a security system --- FREE even ! Cell phone number on DNC list for many years now. DNC is not working and there is no enforcement going on. Three telemarketing calls in one day to 2 different telephones. News story tonite about how useless it is to file complaints and there is no way to stop the calls. Call blocking doesn't work since many/most callers are spoofing their caller ID info. Guess I'll try wasting their time and having fun with them for a while.

Same recorded message as mentioned above. Option 1 is to speak with someone, option 2 is to remove your number from the list. I chose option 1 and asked Kevin, the guy who answered the phone, for the name and phone number of the company he was calling from. After some confusion on his part he picked up I was trying to find out about this scam and said "sorry to bother you" and hung up.
The phone number listed on the caller ID is for go-to-meeting, which is a VALID phone number. Obviously the caller ID was spoofed and this scammer didn't want anyone even trying to get back in contact with them.
IF YOU GET THIS CALL, take it and press 1. Waste as much time as you can of the person on the other end. They are not making any money as long as you've got them on the line. I know it goes against everything about the Do Not Call list but if they we're fooling people into their scam and making money, they wouldn't do it! Waste their time and make it unprofitable for them.
