Other sites make it seem like this is a scam/spam caller, possibly phishing. Maybe they gor it from craiglist as I have a couple items for sale there.

Called my cell phone and the person said that I filled out an online survey about looking for a job in my area. I told him that  I only had my phone  for 2 weeks and that I never gave out my number. When asked how they got my number, they hung up on me.

The call I received from this number ((786) 408-6886) was automated and voiceless; 'it' hung up a few seconds after I answered. I called back and an automated message played. "Thank you for calling WN Physicians. We called because while you were online, you indicated that you are interested in career opportunities..." and then goes on to give me my options: A.) press 1 to speak with a representative about employment options, or B.) press 9 and enter your phone # to stop receiving calls. Their 'rep' after pressing 1 is automated, named 'Chris.' He 'greets' you and then, if you respond, asks you to confirm if you recall looking for employment opportunities.

I tried it a few times. 'Chris' brings up that I filled out a survey, and I said "I did not fill in a survey." The pre-recorded response was 'thank you' and the conversation ended, 'they' hung up. It also automatically disconnected when I said I would like to speak with a live person.

I browsed for jobs online but completed no 'survey' as they suggest and did not put in my cell phone number anywhere. I am very concerned that they could take my phone # off of my simple browsing, by reading my cookies/data without me having to enter it. This is really not right and a violation of my privacy. I hope someone does something about these kinds of people, who take your info, impose themselves on you, and think they're 'helping.'

Called my cell phone and did not answer when I said hello. I added them to a custom contact I call "Telemarketer/Spammer" to which I've assigned a custom ring tone ? silence, with no vibration. Next time I won't even notice their call.

Called while I was in line ay a bank. I did not answer. They left no message.  I am also on the no call list. Googled the number, found this site and found that the Area Code is in Miami, Florida. I know no one in Florida.

Called my cell - let it go to voicemail - no message left.

Same as above. Missed call, no voice mail.

They called in class I rejected the call they left no voicemail.

I picked up and gotta a robot saying "You are currently the only person in this conference" and then silence. I waited a few seconds to see what would happen and nothing.

tired of these calls, no one there when I answered.

Caller called at 2:20 pm i said hello an the hung up without sayin a word.

This is WM or WN positions. Some carreer advancement junk. Your info was most likely sold to them. Called back got automated message and could press 9 to stop receiving calls.

Same experience as previously reported.  Called me, at number on Do Not Call list.  No message.  FTC take note!!

rec'd a call from this number this morning but never left a msg; think we may need to report him to the police because obviously he likes to make calls to everyone saying untrue things

Got a call just before 9am central. Caller hung up when I answered the phone.

Told me he was calling about an online survey I filled out, I asked him what survey and the phone went silent.  Checked this site and based on what others say, I am blocking this number.

Caller said I had filled out a survey...a resume, and he wanted to know if I needed/wanted a job....

I DID NOT fill out any survey or resume....I said who are you...phisherman? He immediately hung up...

Caller ID: FL, USA. I answered the phone, and they immediately hung up on me. Why call me if they're going to do that?

Called, rang twice, immiediately hung up when I answered.  Probably scanning to create new phone lists.  It was my cell phone, which is on the do not call liist.  So maybe that is why it hung up.  We'll see
