yep, same thing here.  I got a message on my personal voicemail with similar content ("Jason Smith" (doesn't sound a bit like a Jason Smith, but is harassing in tone), "if I don't hear back from you or your attorney, all I can say is good luck", "God bless" etc), I called back from an anonymous (work) number and he insisted I provide him the telephone number I had received the call from so he could say why I was called (I didn't give it) and he would provide no other info. He said I'd reached the "American Law Associates."  When I got firm with him and asked him questions, he said I wouldn't receive any more calls and hung up. Very scammy.

Just started receiving calls from this number yesterday.  I never answered because the voice mail seemed like a scam. The man threatens you to call back and then say god bless you at the end.

Called me stating I took a loan uo for $1000 and never paid it but but had a old addresses and old email. Tried the "get a lawyer or pay us and we will square you away"

Received a phone call and he instantly told me to suck on his genitals.  Hung up and he called again this time handed phone to husband and he gave the phone to a woman who asked for Debra Hodson.  Very harassing and very sexually explicit.  These people are very disturbed.

got a call from a very pronounced east indian accented voice. Said i should not disregard call or "I wish you luck". Does anyone really fall for this garbage? I called back, let them know I was aware of what they are. Also doing a URL search and will forward to State Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission. Will stop them for a bit, then they will just get another number and try again. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT give them any information.

called and said I have a law suite against me when I asked what law suite he was talking about and he said don't I read my email and gave one of my email addresses I said I was interested I think he is scamming me and hung up. I have got two messages after that saying I shouldn't blow off his calls and if I do saying his name is Jason smith if I don't return call all he could do is wish me good luck and ended the call with God bless you.

Jason also called me told me I was going to be arrested if I didn't pay him $600.00 right then, He got very threatening and I told him I was broke and then he said well I hope you have a good attorney because you will need it. You will be arrested for fraud and you will never get a loan again nor will anyone hire you.These people need to get a life and stop harassing people . It is a shame people can't find a good job they had rather sit on their a** in front of a computer and look for people to scam.

Threaten me about fraud and was going to have me arrested.He was rude and very threating. Be aware After I refused to give him money he told me I would be going to jail tomorrow.

Having the same experience as everyone else with this number. I got tired of it after a week of 2-4 calls a day, when I attempted to return the call to clarify who they are, who they are trying to reach, and why, the call disconnects before it rings. Not sure what the scam is, but this guy isn't very dedicated if he isn't taking calls back from the people he's harassing.

Got this call again today at 2:37C time, 03/12/14. A foreign guy named Jason Smith, left a message, said for me or my attorney to call him back at 786-507-5838. Caller ID said Miami, FL. He said if I didn't return the call he had no choice but to file charges. He also said for me to watch as the situation unfolded on me. Said not to ignore the call! Then said. 'May God bless you'!

Some foreign sounding guy called my wife's phone & left a message and said to return his call......if I did not they were pressing charges. Did not even listen to all of the message. Knew it was a bogus call from the word go. Have gotten them before. No reason for somebody like that to be calling us. I refuse to talk to ANYBODY I can't understand & that does not talk in my language! Call came in from Miami, FL.

Got the same call and msg as others person with heavy accent also does not wait for phone greeting to finish especially his name is Jason and threatens the same  complete scam and is very annoying. He is very threatening and wants attorney info he does not say where he is calling from

Receiving numerous voicemail on my cell from Jason Smith.  No identification of company, just that I should not ignore his call and either I or my attorney should call and if I ignore him, It it at my peril.

Just another scam hoping to scare someone into making a payment to make them go away.  Have had numerous attempts over the past three years.  I ignore them if it is voicemail and if I do get the call I simply say no to anything they ask me.

They won't even be able to give you the name of the lender you supposedly owe money to.

I've received a few missed calls from this number and decided to call back and the guy (very thick accent) said there is going to be a law suit against me starting tomorrow.  They claimed to have emailed me numerous times to a Comcast email address (I have never had Comcast before) and not to hang up.  I have no idea why this person keeps calling me but every time they do I just hang up.  I have not received any formal affidavits or been served so my guess this is just some sort of scam.

I unfortunately have been getting calls from collection agencies for a Deborah (I will refrain from posting her last name) for a couple of years now.  Apparently she must have used my telephone number for one or more payday loan applications.  I've tried to get the calls to stop without much success.  I received the threatening call that is the subject of this thread and assumed it was for her as well.  My guess is that it's a debt collection agency which searched for any numbers they could find for a Deb/Debbie/Deborah in a certain geographical region.

Yup, he just called me a few hours saying the same thing, and its weird that almost all of the comments on here are made by  Debbie, Debra, or Deb's.

Yup got a call this morning from this scum bag creep. If he calls one more time . He gets sued for harrassment.  Ill start a class action suit on him. We'll have him thrown in jail....prison...

Left me a voice mail..my name is Jason.. heavy accent......"don't disregard this message , if you don't return my call and if I don't hear back from your attorney the only thing I can do is wish you good luck in this situation. good bye and may god bless you."   Left messages yesterday and today. 9:08 am both times.  The caller ID number is different than the call back number.  If you research it back it's from South America.

I have received a message from Jason Smith.  Same messages

I have received several  voice mails saying that if they did not hear back from me or my attorney, all he could do was wish me good luck and God bless.  Did not leave his name or name of company he was calling from.  Had a very thick foreign accent.
I have called them back twice now and get the same story - they say that I received money from one of those "get quick loan now" companies, that I had not paid them back, so they were going to issue warrrants in my name.  I have never even heard of the company I supposedly received the money from.  It was supposedly deposited directly into my bank account.  What was scary was that he had all the info on my bank and everything.  I moved almost 3 years ago and closed that account over 2 years ago.  I called the bank to make sure no deposits had been received, and, of course, none were.  When I told this guy that I had never heard of the company and that this was a scam, he hung up on me.  It made me mad so I called him back to ask why he had hung upon me and he said he was "fed up with me."  He started telling me that warrants were going to be made out in my name, that I owed this company over $5,000 and that this was "not going to go away."  I ended up hanging up on him.

Same message from Jason Smith....he didn't even wait for my voicemail to complete the greeting so I have no idea what the first part of the message said but definately threatening.  I deleted it not worried about his stupid scam

Got the same message.  I advised the caller that I worked for a Police Department and he changed his story from warrants were being executed for my arrest to someone would be contacting me to answer a few questions.  I hung up on him.

I got the same message from this number - 2 days in a row now. 1 - on 2/26 and another today 2/27.

Got the same exact call.  Have you noticed a pattern.  We all have the same name.
