I just spoke to a very nice gentleman on the phone. He is the real attorney micheal Stevenson! As I suspected he was not in any way shape or form even a debt collector. He is a real live attorney that represents clients! Please people if you have any concernes please just do not send out money blindly!! Even if you can not afford an attorney find a free legal aid, district attorneys office, police station, para-legal, or anything before sending money to ANYONE that you are not sure of, or that tries to throw you off by scaring the life out of you. The man I spoke to today seemed like a really nice guy, it's a shame that he has to have his name slammed into the mud over a SCAM in my opinion. The reason I feel it's a scam is that he would not under any circumstances provide the name of the corporation that the supposed loan had come from, he would not verify where I worked, just a number! And remember ask for there bar number attorneys are bound "in Louisiana at least" to provide upon request to allow you to make sure there in good standings!

Next time anyone calls you proclaiming to be an attorney you simply ask them for there bar asst. number if you have any doubts! If the "ATTORNERY" will not provide you with one chances are they are not an attorney! You can also search by name and cross reference a phone number on the site provided below!!

a guy by the name mike johnson called me saying i took out a loan from them i said i never took out  LOAN  and he started cursing at me he said my ss number then hung up then he called back then was saying i called him out his name then said he was barrack obama and he was coming to kill me and was saying alot of crazy things to me plus asking me to sing to him and so i hung up and he called me back telling me he knows where i live and coming to kill me

I got i called from this poeple too, saying exactly the same thing. i told teh guy that what ever he was saying was BS and that i was going to go to the police with their number. i hope they never call me again. i am a little scare.

They even called my job!!!! ...for money I do not owe them

Just received another call from this guy but he changed his name to something else.  I sent him straight to voicemail and he left a very nasty message on my voicemail.  He told me that if he didn't hear back from me in two hours then he would just wish me the best of luck because the police would be there to arrest me and I would be in serious legal trouble.  They also have switched the number they are calling from.  The new number is 7862726522.

These jack***es go far cause I live in Hawaii and got scammed $730 because I was scared, but at least I caught on and notified police and made a report. I hope they rot in hell and most people will believe what goes around. Crazy world

got call from this number stating they were law firm Winston & Assoc had lawsuit against me put me on hold transferred to a Derrick Jones, i asked him what this was and immediately he started yelling at me i had a attitude and he was sending the law to my employer right now and and was calling them to have me fired and hung up.  I tried calling number back went to a voice mail saying leave message.  Yesterday had almost same scenario from a james brown 646-500-8629 told me he wished me luck he was going to take everything i had away from me and have me sent to prison if i didn't send them $5000.00 dollars by wire transfer in 30 minutes. ha who can do that and i've never owed anyone more than $2000.00 and never had a payday.  How are they getting our information, is anyone safe anymore.

had the same calls here as well, saying that i own money to a payday loan place , and they had all my info as wll, kinda scary really.. i called the place that i have the loan at and we are now pressing charges on them... Do not fall for them    money fraud..

Same call, but they weren't as rude yet with me as they have been with some of you. I've received calls from this number and others saying the same thing. It was payday loans at first and then it turned into the law firm. They started talking back saying "This is not a company, it's a law firm". I was like, whatever, I can't even understand you, this is NOT a law firm.

I told them to remove me from their calling lists but they just change the number they're calling from.

Omg this man called & said the exact same thing to me,he threatens me with the police coming to arrest me @ my job & all.i had no idea how he got my # bcuz I just changed it but he had all my info this is scary & needs to stop I don't know what or who this Michael Johnson & James brown r but they need to be arrested for calling & harassing ppl.Its very scary how ppl get ur info now a days

I had the same thing happen to me today.  Michael Johnson called me and told me that they had a suit against me for not paying a pay day loan.  He had all my personal information and everything.  I didn't confirm anything and he told me that the sheriff's office would arrest me at work and I would lose my job because of it.  He advised me to get an attorney.  I hung up on him because I know that every payment I have ever made has been on time.  What should I do now though?

Guy named Michael Johnson called me saying i have 3 counts of fraud against me and I need an attorney, etc.  He had all my info from SS to work info. Thats what made me think it was real. He said im being sued for a payday loan. I cursed him out and he hung up on me, then i called back to go off some more and he said the police department was on their way to arrest me.

I have recived several phone calls from this number 786-528-3069. Trying to tell me that I need to pay them alot of money. Will not tell me the dates. Said that they would send me an email with all of the information on it and still have not recived anything.

Same as above, calls multiple times a day said something about Pay Day Loan, I wasn't sure the accent was very thick got upset when I couldn't understand him so he hung up on me. His Para Legal was named James Brown did not get the Lawyers Information but definitely had personal information. I am reporting this to the authorities!

He called my work and harassed me to the point that I had to call the cops telling.me he loved me and wants to f*** me and all kinds of.inappropriate things. This happed after I called him out on his bull s*** scam that he called a law suit

Today I received a phone call from a person saying his name is Michael Steven Davis, stating he is a Lawyer from Florida and demanding I pay 585 dollars or I will be suit from cash central. He had an accent of a person from India. Please watch out for these scammers for they are out there.

Today got this same phone ,this person called him self james brown and knew eveything about me I to didn't confirm 1 thing but he also knew my account # the bad thing is there was several hundred dollars is missing but I did call police it is gonna be under investagation yes it sure is scarey that someone can get account# from a account that is under 3 weeks old

This guy actually just called me saying the same exact thing.  I did confirm the information he had though because I was surprised and thought it was real.  Has anything else happened to you all that had the same phone call.  I think I am going to call my lawyer though just because I did confirm these things just incase anything does happen.

Received a phone call from this number a little while ago. He had my email, SS#, and bank info. I never confirmed any of this information. He had a heavy middle eastern or east indian accent. He claimed the police would arrive shortly and question me. He said DOJ had several complaints against me for wire fraud, fraudulent checks, providing false info, etc.
He told me I had to be quiet and listen to the list of charges before I responded.
After he read the list I told him his English was very bad and I could not understand a word he said.

He hung up on me. I guess I insulted him.

I received twice yesterday a phone call from telephone number 786-528-3069. The person that called said it was from the Department of Justice. That person said that I was sued by a company named America Cash Advance. Sued for a pay day loan. The person called me at work, knows my social security number, name and bank name. I did not confirm any information to that person, but scared me using my personal information
who knows for what. I asked him to send me proof of what his talking about. Never sent anything. Called me twice. Second time I hanged up. The person accent, sound like from middle east, not american. I noticed that immediately. This situation means, that there is no security in the internet. Is easy to pull out personal information and use it for bad things. If that person call me back, I will be force to use the police for investigation.
