Called my cell twice, I picked up but nobody on the line

They called me twice today too!  no one on the other end, what a freak!

This appears on my caller ID both at home and work when my family call from the UK.  Who are they - can anyone find out???

From the comments, its seems like the person is using skype..I had some woman with an indian accent trying to get personal info from me...she started with a website i owned, then phone number, then fax number, i'm sure if I would have given her my fax # she would have kept digging, and eventually asked for a credit card #...beware folks....

This numberr called me twice today. I did not pick up but redialed it and call could not go though.

This is the caller ID that I got when I received a call from Seoul, South Korea into the US. I have Verizon. Weird!

This is skype number , I received a call from my fiance and this number and name show in my call ID, and she was calling from skype

I've got the police working on locating the owner of this #.  The # was owned by a local telco company, but was bought out by a large concern out of Bethlehem, PA.

I got this caller ID when my mom called me from anothe country using a regular phone line. Weird

this number is a local skype out number for south florida. when someone using skype calls your landline phone, this is the number you will see. so some of it may be scammers using skype.

I received serveral calls from this number.  When they asked for me by name I asked who was calling. They hung up.  What's the point of calling repeatedly and hanging up when people answer?? What do they get out of this other than they may or may not have a legit phone number?

Someone called me identifying himself as  a doctor, and asked if I received his email, he said he would call later.  He said he was calling from London England.

I received several calls from Claridon Holding (caller ID).  Each time it's a different sales pitch (reverse mortgages, personal loans etc.  The
numbers on caller ID are 786-539-3300 and several more.

I have received PRIVATE calls at 10:30 pm for the last 5 nights.  The last one showed this number.  It is really scary as they call every night to my office, home an cellular phones.  When I answer there is no response.  Today I called that number and there was a message that my call cannot be completed as dialed.  If I get this call again, I will just answer that the FBI is after them.

What an annoying company!!! And to what extend are scammers willing to come up with dumb stuff like this.

I was called 4 times in a row on the morning of April 30th. This persistence raised a red flag on this, so when I ran a search over this number. I got this blog, thanks for your postings.

They called me on April 28, 2008 at 5:31 PM and was told to press 1 to speak to someone. I pressed 1 and a female voice asked me if I wanted to lower my credit card rate. I told her she was breaking the law since my telephone number was on the no call list. She hung up. Some government agency should make them stop breaking the law.

After a 3 second delay this guy say's he from a company I deal with and he wants me to upgarde my service.  He'll discount it if I sign up be Friday!  Anyhow, something wasn't right so I googled the phone # and found this site thank god!  Well he doesn't know it yet but I turned him over to the FBI cyber crimes dept. They are awaiting his call back tomorrow!  NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO OVER THE PHONE NO MATTER WHAT!

We too have had similar calls on our phone.  We do not know who this is and they never leave a message and only allow it to ring like 3 times.
