Same thing. I bad Indian accent. He told me he was from BB&T bank and I was approved for a loan. I told him I never applied for a loan with this back and would not take a loan from some one who randomly calls me over the phone. Obviously a scam, sad thing is many must fall for these type of things or they wouldn't be in business.

Some gentleman with a really bad Indian accent called me and left a message saying i was pre-approved for a Capital One Bank Loan and to call back a Florida number. Not a toll free number to call back, therefore they are truncating calls from overseas. You can not even pronounce my name simple and easy correctly! ROFLMAO! This obviously is a total scam as they call most likely did not originate in the US. I also checked with my cousin who works corporate for Capital One and this is not them nor associated with them.
