You can't tell then anything verbally because they are predatory cowards without business ethics and without business professionalism. Send a cease and desist in writing through their BBB explain and detail their inability to follow or acknowledge that there are state and federal consumer protection laws. Their BS excuses of wrong numbers and calling family members while disguised as "just doing their jobs" is disgusting. After you send your cease and desist through their BBB to expose their predatory tactics write your Attorney General's office their Attorney General's office, and all other state and federal consumer protection agencies. I am SO sick of these people calling me!!!!  They have been calling my home phone for months and leaving messages.  I don't have and have never had any student loans and besides, the person they are looking for is not at my number!!  I've managed to intercept 3 of their calls and told them in no uncertain terms to QUIT CALLING ME!!!  The guy I spoke to the last time said, ok, ok, I'll take you of the list.  They are STILL calling.

It's not really ACS.. it's a scam.  That's not an ACS number.

I wa communicating with the company Acs
Loan company. They sent me paper work
To fill out so my student loan would be
Reduced. They kept going back n firths
About some pape was missing information
So I kept filling out what they said they needed
And still didn't get what I needed.

They sent my info to this debt collector
Dcs they changed there name to
Now performant recovery.
The agreement was for 9 months they
Would take money from my bank account
After that they suppose send me
Letter to release any further payments
So I could start paying back with acs
They still was taking money from me.


Now have close my account.

I am having the same issue with ACS-Education.
For the last 12 months I have made timely payments to them on two accounts. I use to have one bill invoice and then they decided to seperate the accounts. Now when I send in two different payments for two totally differnet amounts... they post both payments to one of the account and nothing to the other.
Each month I call them and tell the operator to review the account and they see too much in one and nothing in the other and in 7-10 days I get a letter saying all is good until the next month. I have contacted my Congress woman and her office is investigating the issue with the Department of Education. I have kept great records of whom I spoke with each month, as well requested on several phone calls with ACS to provide one monthly payment.They said they would but that was three months ago. I actually just got off the phone with them to resolve last months You OWE us phone call!

The problem with ACS seems to me "The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing"
Advise you to contact your congressman/womans local office and tell them what is happening minus the cursing...lol

We have an account with ACS (Student Loans) and we got behind because the f****ards CHANGED THE ACCOUNT NUMBERS so I was overpaid on one account and far behind on the other because they changed the goddamned system and I didn't know about it and for some reason, it is impossible for them to put the total sent to both accounts, where before there was only 1.

So now I'm getting calls from both ACS Directly and an external company/debt collector that they hire even though my account hasn't gone to collections and I've expressed my intentions to continue to pay what I can to them.

They have ALL of my contact information, from email to address to phone numbers to a fax number and they continue to call family and friends despite my repeated demands that they stop violating the FCC The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Called & left message on my cell & work phone.  I have no loan.  I returned call and they looked me up in their system and had no accounts associated to my phone numbers.

It is a student loan company ACS

Caller continues to call and when the caller ID is used the Id shows unknown caller. they call everyday at thre same time. I don't answer these calls, so they continue
