These people call constantly asking for my husband and refuse to give a reason why they are calling.  Last time, I got nasty and they didn't like my language.  I told the woman this is my phone and my number and don't call it again.  Before, I had some strange foreign speaking man calling from this number telling me he was from Microsoft and my computer had been hacked and he could help me get rid of the virus and fix it.  Scam artist pieces of s***.  Stop calling me all hours of the day and night.  Don't call my number for anyone but me period.  Sick of lazy scumbags robbing people.  Get off your lazy a***s and get a real job like the rest of us.

This number shows on the callerID and no one answers the phone.  Really bad robo-call system.  Recently bought a home so I know my credit report and i don't owe anyone money.

Who the heel are they, & why have the continue to call my number, when the person that they are asking for, is not associated w/ the phone number they are trying to reach. I will find this one dude that works there & her curses @ me, makes threats, & then he will say "YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT",. I did some research on this company & they are just another name for Portfolio Recovery, which back in my college days, before I got my credit back to normal & can get loans now, as we just bought & financed a new home & car, but anyways they buy these CHEAP, wrote off debts for like pennies on the dollar owed or so "they will say", & then just bug the s*** out of you, you cannot report them, no laws will protect you, so give up there, all you can do is tell them to go f*** off & die!! So Today i get a call from 1800-204-3128. In the first instance a robotic sounding voice Maims my first name. As it is my name is very Unusual. Then i make up my mind to call back and see if i want to conduct business with these people. A young lady named Daniel answered, i assume that they  have caller I.D because she was able to tell me that it was her who called. Now i want to get down to brass tacks so i told her to tell me the nature of the call and we could do business. This young lady first asked me if my name was D-S-LL-
I said yes this is he, now instead of saying to me look you have a debt we are trying to collect she started asking me for PII. i told her that i can assure here that i was the name she stated and that i did not feel comfortable sharing my PII. Once again I asked her to name the debt so we can do business she said i was being rude, and that my name was a common name, i told her my name is very unique, what would be the chances of her dialing a number and meeting a Random D_S_LL_? She hung up on me! Wow.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to this site?  This is the only website that takes up to a minute to load a page. I'm not having any trouble on any other site.
And I also got a call from Credit Control this morning looking for someone I've never heard of. I informed them the first time they called that they had the wrong number But apparently they don't care , So now I don't answer their calls and they don't leave any messages I see it as their lost (time wise)

Left no message but I know I've had calls from them before, usually asking for Tiffany.  they don't seen to believe I am not Tiffany.  It's been going on for a couple of years now.

The bill collectors they ring my phone. And scare my wife when I'm not home!  If you have Cox Communications utilize their Selective Call Rejection.  It's only a few dollars a month extra.

Even without sending a validation request, debt collectors have certain rules they must follow when it comes to contacting you over the phone. For example, they can't call you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. your local time. They can't call you repeatedly, and they can't call you at anytime you've previously stated is inconvenient. Stop Debt Collection Calls
There's no law that says you have to communicate with a debt collector by phone. If you hang up on a debt collector there is nothing they can do about it. But, if the collector continues to call you repeatedly even after you have hung up on them, they are in violation of the FDCPA.

All you have to do to stop debt collectors from calling you is tell them that you prefer to communicate with them in writing. Written communication works in your favor because it gives you a record of everything that is said. If the debt collector violate the FDCPA, you have hard evidence that could lead to a lawsuit in your favor. Keep in mind that, by law, the debt collector does not have to honor this request.

I just found this, thought it might help someone else too.

I start getting these calls at 7am, they call until 11pm. Today I called them back and they told me it was for my daughter and that I should stop protecting her. I ask from what, he just repeated it over and over. We don't even know what they want.

I receive calls from this phone number often (800-204-3128). They ask for me, and I ask who's calling. Every time, all the caller says is "Nicole". So I hang up. Very strange that she wouldn't even tell me the company she works with. It's definitely shady.

Call daily and I answer the phone and 5 seconds later it hangs up? Never a person to yell at.....gets old day after day !

Calls several times a day for my husband, never leaves a message.  I called them back, a guy names "Carlos" answered "hello", I told them to stop calling- he was rude.

Called my husband who has been totally disabled for a year and is very ill with no income.  They wanted all his personal information before they would tell him who they were or what they wanted.  He refused to give out his personal info, so they hung up on him.  SCAM

My mother receives calls from this number numerous times a week.  She does not answer them and if they leave a voice mail it is always for a "Bianca" (which no one in my family is named.)

Today I answered and a man asked for Bianca.  I began to tell him he had the wrong number and to stop with the incessant calls.  They have been asked numerous times by both my mother and myself and yet the calls continue.  He hung up on me.

So rude.  Wish these dirt bags would just listen and remove the number as we've asked repeatedly.
