A debt collector saying that I need to call back Donald Jackson and when I called back, it said to leave a detailed message since it's time sensitive  with my name, claim number

I get these call also.  However I called Homeland Securities who went to all the trouble of checking these people out and actually got the persons name and so called badge number off my answering machine.  They checked it out and told me that this person does not and cannot file a warrant against me and that they are not with the justice department and they do not have a badge through the Justice Department in any state or country.  They tried to call this guy and he would not answer the phone.  I am keeping in touch with Homeland Securities and I refer these people to the Homeland Security Office.  I have alerted my District Attorney who has agreed that these people are in violation of the Fair Debt and Collections Act of September 30 1998.  Get a copy of it and have it in hand when these crooks call you and you can just keep talking over them while you read them the law.

800-214-5360 is Commercial Recovery Systems an old and infamous collection agency out of Dallas. They have been calling my home phone number (automated calls) for a few months now looking for people i have never heard of before. They call usually during the day and the auto-message says that if you stay on the line you are "acknowledging you are _________". Only once was i able to catch the incoming call and it did give the option to tell them you are NOT the person they are calling about.
i've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. So, we'll see if they can help.

Mr Jackson called and said the same things.  Said He had a court case for me and would be taking legal action against me if I didnt return his call immediatly.  This is illegal and needs to be stopped.

They call everyday...automated for a man I never heard of.

So I get a call from this number asking for a family member, how they got my NEW number I will never know but i called and woman answers "Processing" I said is Mr. Andrews there? she said no why? i said because I am returning a call him, she said whats your name and claim number, i said i dont have one i think you had wrong number and she hung up on me, so i call back and i said you hung up on me and she says why did you call back? i said well because i wanted to tell you i dont know why you are calling me and i want my number deleted from your list, she said whats your number? i told her and she said ok. (SILENCE)  I said ok thank you... and she had already hung up. damn bill collector i am thinking HSBC or Conns furniture. Girl was rude as hell

Got a call on my cell phone number came up private callers name was Andrew.  Said the same as the others that I need to call them or have my attorney call them today.  Reference a case number I also know this is a scam I just got this phone and the number isn't even in my name.  Please be careful and watch your caller ID, I google all numbers that I don't know if they don't leave a message.

A company has filed an afadavit against you..and I need to speal to you ar your attorney riight away. Mr. Andrews and some lady has called very threatening, maybe Miss Hill? Probably just bought some old debt account and trying to keep it alive...

I just got the same exact call today.

received a very threatening call from a Mr. Andrews stating that either me or my attorney had better call him by 6 PM or I would not like what happened next.  He left this number and a claim number and said that I had been rude not returning his calls.  The number came up on my cell as unknown.  And "Unknown"  called three more times but did not leave a message.  I can only think it was him.

Received a call from this number from a "Rick Phillips", offering a deal on an old settled account. Caller claimed to be an attorney representing HSBC. Would not tell me the name of their "company" and were trying to demand payment in a few days or else they would issue 1099's etc. Talked with an attorney friend, said the whole thing sounded like a scam.
