Sounded fishy, but they had my name and last 4 digits of my credit card. They just said they were 'card services'. I ended up calling the number on my credit card instead of the number they left in the voicemail. It was a legitimate verification that I had changed my address online, but defintiely did sound sketchy.

It's a SCAM, called my bank and verified that there was no suspicious activity with my account

Just got a call from that same number, stating they were checking on my account activity to make sure it was fraudulent, so I called the # on the back of my BOA card and they proceeded to tell me the number that called me was in fact a scam and was trying to get my information. Do not call it back, call the number on your card!!

THIS IS A SCAM, DON'T CALL THEM BACK! I got a call from this number saying they are with the Bank of America Fraud Department. They had my full name and last four digits of my credit card. It sounded very legit but I was reluctant to dial this number just in case it was a scam. I called the Bank of America credit card customer service line from the website and they said there were no fraud issues with my card and they don't use that number. They also said they would report it to their fraud department.

Automated call about charges on BOA credit card here too. They had my name and last 4 digits of the card and decided to look up the number and found this site. My online banking for the card shows nothing out of the ordinary.

Just got a call from 1-800-214-7027 saying it was the Bank of America fraud department in regard to suspicious activity on my account. Had my full name and last 4 digits of my current BoA charge card. I was standing by the phone when the call came in and it said private name, private number. I was suspicious so called the number on the back of my charge card. BoA confirmed that it was a 3rd party provider who was checking to verify that it was indeed me that asked for a change of address on my account. Not a phishing caper, not a scam.

Got a call saying they had suspicious activity on my bank account card! They had the right last 4 digits of my account number too :/

This is a phishing attempt to gain personal information. Call your bank to report this, if you get a call from this number.

Received an automated message from this number too...about suspicious charges on my BOA credit card. Asked me to enter my zip code. Hung up and called BOA and they checked my account and told me that they didn't call.
Scammers.

Bank of America fraud department, calling to confirm that I had changed my address on my account.

This number (800-214-7027) left a message saying they needed to confirm "suspicious" charges on my credit card. There was no mention of any bank or credit card company with the automated system when I called back. Couldn't connect me for whatever reason & Gave another number at the end of the message (866-217-5447). Doesn't seem legit.
