Honest companies don't have to pay their employees to spew lies on sites like this. That dubious privilege is reserved for scammers like your company.

If you build a website and place it on Google's search engine....are you providing data for that search engine? "data service provider"

I actually work for the company mentioned and have a ton of referrals of happy customers that we do good work for. Kind of upsetting how people can post negative comments without having any interaction with a company. I encourage everyone to do their do diligence before doing business with any company.

I wish people like Gypsy Rodger would get facts before making such claims.

I did not see the phone number. AT&T reported it as 'unknown.' But it was the same person, Robert, who left a message. I can tell you as a web developer and SEO advisor, Google would NEVER call you about improving your rankings. He is falsely representing himself as someone that works with Google. Do not call this person. Suspect also that he would not provide a company name.

Real customers who are happy with someone's service don't say "I am a customer who is happy with their service"... they write specific things. Which tells me that your response is as much bullpucky as the calls them selves from "Google Data Services"... because even if your business IS actually named "Google Data Services" it was only done with the intent of defrauding people into believing you were some how employee's of Google.com which you are not. Google would never solicit people with such services and if they ever did they sure wouldn't also offer placement on Bing and Yahoo in the process.

Everything about the call has SCAM written all over it, and your fraudulent response to this thread is just one more piece of your scam. It is people like you who give legitimate consultants in this industry a bad name. I really hope some day you get a phone call from your wife saying your bank account is empty because she sent all your money to Nigeria because that is the same type of crap you are trying to pull here and it will just be Karma.

it seems to be a possible scam, it's either Google wanting to update your business profile or it's a company that got your information from google map listing and is trying to impersinate google, either way it's just a solicitation.

some guy named bart called saying hes from google data services... He is either a scammer or anouther company thrying to claim a business in the maps to make money

I am a customer who is happy with their services. If you want to get on the first page, call them. If you have not worked with them them, then why write a review??

these people have nothing to do with Google.  It is a scam.  Do not waste your time.  I actually mae the mistake of calling them back once and a couple of questions later they would not tell me where they were calling from or which Google office they represented.

Got a call/message at work saying he'd like to talk to me about placing my website in on open position on the "google front page". His # didn't show on Caller ID. Said he was a data service provider for google. I was suspicious but called the number anyway...got a recording of a girl named Jennifer asking me to push 1 if I wanted to update my google 411 info. I reluctantly pushed #1 and got dead air.

Left a message on my phone: Said his name is Robert and is data service provider for Google. Requested I  call 800-219-6019 about a my company reviews. Claimed he could be helpful in improving my Company profile.
