Caller claims my Boss requested to update info, but then says he is "not allowed" to leave a voice-mail because there is not a direct line to call him back on- but could give me a customer service number.??? what sense does this make? To call everyday and not be allowed to leave any sort of voicemail or have a number to be contacted back at...i smelll....SCAM!!!

Received a call on our 4th line, the gentleman was trying to get me to divulge information. He claimed he was updating records but was giving me numbers that our company has never had, wanted to know how many people I employed, and never gave me a case number and would not give me any information as to what the call was for, or what their company did? Would not tell me what he was updating for.

I researched the call I just had and the email she sent me was from Dun & Bradstreet and it is legit.  All the phone numbers and email addresses given to me were legit DNB - not a scam artist trying to get my company's info.  Just updating our company files so they are up to date.

Ruth called from 973-929-3290 but gave a number of 800-234-3867 to call back on.

Totally a scam.  He wouldn't tell me what the information was for and the info he did have was outdated by about ten years.  These ppl suck.

dnb are extotionists criminal a***oles.

Got 2 calls on 2 different days.  One from this number and one from a 336-286-1810 and both identified themselves as Dun & Bradstreet.  Left messages on my machine that we needed to contact them about activity on our credit report.  Glad I looked on here.  Won't bother to call them back.

Getting call from asking for 499 for the year or 69 a month as advertised on the D&B website...I looked this number up and read the information posted and the rep tried to reassure not India based company.

I also received a call from this number and was given a case number.  They were evasive as to why they were calling and just wanted info. but would not give any.  I called the Better Business  Bureau  and I was told that I could file a complaint.

They called us today from phone number: 407-771-9211, she said she is from D&B and we should contact then to 1-800-234-3867
She gave us a case #, I don't trust them, look more like a scam to me.

Here is how D&B works, our company paid $499.00 to get higher rating from D&B we added 2 more reference after D&B did there confirmation on the new vendors they approve them that boosted our lines of credit not that much higher than it was because we already had 15 vendors ratting from $10,000 to $100,000  per month later they came back and stated we could not use the vendor we gave them that they APPROVE now they wiped out all of our venders it’s time to DNB into court our company is putting up $50,000 if other want to join on a class  action suit against DNB for taking money and screwing company to their benefit. Their toll number 800-234-3867 go to AUSTIN TX then  transfer to INDIA where someone call them self JEFF, SUE or some American name.  DNB has done this for so long taking 499 or 799 all scams

EVERY OTHER DAY we are hounded with calles from these people.  DO NOT TRUST!

A women named Eleanor called me from Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. I decided to do a little research on them through the Better Business Bureau. They're rated as a "D", or as "unsatisfactory". You can link this number to (800) 234-DUNS, or (800) 234-3867.  Not to be trusted.
