I have been getting calls on my home phone, the caller id says 609-718-2432.  When you answer there is a recording that says something about calling central reporting at 800-242-7178.  We are on the do not call registry!!  If they decide to send someone to my front door they will be met by a large dog and a long barrel.

BE CAREFUL with this number!!! I called it just to see what would happen (yes I know about scams and what NOT to do) and they ask for your "loan number" or FULL social security number. The most disturbing thing is, a man came right to my front door and handed me a note with this number on it - very unsettling. I looked out the window and he sat out there for at least 5 minutes, and I am thinking he was getting our vehicle plate info...he was sure looking around the place. I noted that his front license plate was MISSING, very smart guy. He finally drove away and went to the stop sign, stopped, got out of his car, and was doing something...not sure what. I got pics of him and his vehicle, and will be reporting this to my landlord (we rent a small home) and to the police dept --

what a surprise this co. asked for your S.S. # in the first breath of a very intense request. This is the loan BLAH BLAH
