OK, here is what you do. Just call the phone number that they provide to sign up for their services.

I helpful employee ( or owner?) said he would do it manually.

OR: You can spam THEM with hundreds of calls to the number. Pretend to want their services and keep them on hold and bother them to the point they can't function

I second the advice to file a complaint with the FCC - go to this website and select "junk fax" http://www.fcc.gov/complaints.

However, leaving your number here and asking that your number is removed won't do anything. This is just a consumer complaint site, and the perpetrators won't see your complaint.

I don't trust dataremoval.org, either. I think it's probably similar to spam email - if you reply with your number, then you've just validated your fax number and they'll just fax more.

This a federally registered number. Your number has been submitted to my county atty, my state atty, my atty who wants to start a class action suit against you & the US FCC. Now go away or face the consequence.

Received a fax that I did not want any part of. I want my number removed but you can't get through to them so that they will remove it. Don't waste my paper, ink and my time.

Unsolicited fax

I just received a Health Insurance Fax with the website www.dataremoval.org and I did find that website however it is in German. So I called the number on the fax 1-888-481-1066 and a girl answered and I told her was not going to a website that is written in German. She laughed (I guess she thinks these annoying faxes are funny), but she did ask for my fax number. I also told if I get another fax from them I will report them to the FCC. There is information about "fax-advertising" at www.fcc.gov/guides/fax-advertising.

I have a folder and have been keeping ALL of the faxes and writing the dates and times that I "opt out", but it seems the more I do this, the more faxes I am receiving from "other" sources.

Does anybody else seem to have the issue? Or is this just my imagination?

Me too! And the problem is...you can file these complaints, but you have to do a different complaint for each different fax and number.  I get the health insurance, the life insurance AND...hahaha...the cheap vacations, AS WELL as the supposed "American Airlines" vacations from Human Resources...I GET THEM ALLLLLL!

So, yes I'm filing complaints, BUT I'm doing it constantly! Lol!  Guess you gotta have persistence, huh?

We received an unsolicited fax regarding affordable healthcare. The number listed is 312-651-6070.
Online at www.dataremoval.org or call 1-855-845-2761. Neither the webaddress nor the phone number work.

Keep sending hundreds of fax's to our fax line. Shut their number down - no way to get removed - tell you to visit www.DataRemoval.org to remove - no such site.

SCAM----- please file a complaint with the FCC............go on line it only take a few minutes and the more filed complaints they get the better chance we all have of maybe getting rid of the scam faxes!!!

I'm getting EXACTLY the same fax as the one listed above.  I would caution people to stay away from whatever this company is hiding behind to peddle since even the website they list to unsubscribe from their service isn't accurate.

we get these all the time, the one i just got says cash for 2011 recieve $500,000 for your business. yeah, right. is there anyway to get them to stop? at the bottom it says www.fax-halt.com to stop but that website doesn't exsist.

It's a scam (using your fax, phone line and paper without your permission) to market themselves to you to contract with them to process your credit cards.  Is an original offer of a competitive rate worth it to be stuck with people who would do business this way?  THINK!

This number was on an unsolicited fax transception. When I phoned to sell them advertising Allen answered the phone. He wasn't very helpful. When he asked for the phone number I gave him the fax number they had sent the junk fax to.
