got a call @ 6:44pm on 6/6/08 i didnt answer they didnt leave a message i called it back & also got that the # is disconnected.

got a call from this number at 6:03pm. answered it but someone hang up the phone.I called back but it says that the number is not in service

HI I recieved this same call at 10:30am 6/7/08.  I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize it and haven't tried to call it back. i'm located in north texas!

I got this call this afternoon too. It said my car warranty is expired. What ths hell is that? I am in Nor. Cal, and i am using ATT

I have a new Tracfone, and no one knows my number yet. Just got a missed call from this number.

I looked up the number online. when I called my voice mail, I got a loud, loud scream in my ear....Sounded like someone was being murdered....

I'm here in Houston.  My girlfriend got this call number tonight and when she answered some dude discussed auto warranty and asked her for the "make and model and model year" of her car.  If they are a third party telemarketer for autos that are indeed going out of warranty, then they should know that information.

This sounds like some sort of fraud.  Report it to the FCC as even without a do not call registration telemarketers cannot call cell phones.

Just got a call on my cell phone, no message left. I returned the call from a different phone and got a message that the number is not in service. The question is, who and how do we report this?

i received the call at 2:35 june 9th its weird cuz number no longer in service so i had to google the area code and it brought me hear kinda trippy

It is only illegal if it is an automatic dialer.

this is weird.. it seems like most of us are either SO Cali or Texas.

i wonder if when they transfer you if it goes to a line in which you are being charged... this seems to make sense... at least, to me.

Have bee to a car dealer ship or gave out my number I have a t-mobile sidekick if that matters so yeah.

I do not like this person or agency calling my phone, stop or I will file with the FCC

Got this call earlier today here in Southern CA, also didn't leave a message, googled it and got this site. I plan on filling out FCC complaint form.

Got this call on my phone and when I answered the phone blew up and literally tore the entire left side of my head off.  What a bummer, guess I will have to switch carriers or or maybe I will just learn to use hand signals instead.

This call scared me to death.  I live in Austin, TX, and my wife was driving through Memphis with my 3 kids when I received a call from this number.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code or number.  Then I looked up the area code on the web and froze.

My first thought was that it was a local sheriff's office calling to tell me my wife was in an accident.  To make matters worse, her phone ringer was off, and the number (901-365-0903) would not answer.

Anyway, glad I didn't answer.

i recieved a call from this number about 2:13 pm. i live in north dakota now but have a houston area code. didnt answer but when called bakc not in service!

Received call from 901-365-0903 number... curious cause I didn't recognize the area code... did a quick search and found others experiencing the same mysterious call from a 'no longer in service' number!!!

Another call on my cell (also with AT&T), didn't pick up. Like others, I figure if it's important, they'll leave a msg.

No visits to auto dealers recently, although I have been planning a wedding & giving my cell # out to various vendors.

I have been getting the "auto warranty" call on my home phone (no caller id, so I don't know from whom).

I'm in 8th grade and in the middle of my 7th period class i got this phone call from someone at 901-365-0903. I called it back on the bus after class and it said the number was not in service. my area code is 757 and its really scary that someone from tennesse is calling me! i talked to this kid on my bus and he said he received a phone call from the same number in 6th period and his area code is 703!

I received a call from 1-901-365-0903 at 10:42AM PDT.   I also live in Southern California. I recognized the area code as Memphis, Tn.  However, the caller did not leave a message.

I do not own a horse.

They go from one hijacked phone number to the other, not using them for long.  I suspect they are from other countries with accomplices in the U.S.

obviously, the same experience has happened to many people.

My only take is...

WHOEVER IS AT 901-365-0903, QUIT USING THE CHICKEN ^%$# TECHNIQUE YOU'RE USING AND TRY SELLING SOMETHING HONEST AND GENUINE FOR A CHANGE.  OR IS THAT TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU????
WE KNOW THAT YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO FIND A SUCKER THAT WILL GIVE UP THEIR PERSONAL INFORMATION.  TRY DOING SOMETHING HONEST FOR ONCE.  
WHILE WE DON'T ALWAYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOUR WEAKNESS HAS BEEN EXPOSED, LOUD AND CLEAR.
SO GIVE IT UP.

Apparently Ms. Pleas number got hijacked by scammers.

This is a hijacked phone number.  Scammers use people's phone numbers and call potential victims under that hijacked number.  Do not answer or call them back.

If you have visited a car dealership recently, be very careful, as these calls will start up shortly after your visit.  I find it interesting that I never received any unsolicited calls on my cell until I visited Toyota of Richardson, Texas; Francis was my salesperson.  I should have given them my home phone, which I have only in case of an emergency.
