I don't have a Toyota or a car loan so wtf is up with these people calling me?!

I do not own a Toyota car.

I am getting daily calls, no message, just a robot. I want my phone number removed. Sorry now that I bought a Toyota, had no idea I was signing up for years of phone abuse to get a car!

I scheduled a payment for the end of the week, yet the auto dialer keeps calling twice a day.... friggin nightmare

I am afraid it may be a scam for Toyota. They asked for a friend of mine and not me and when he called them back they knew my number and his cousin's??????? And wanted payment for a future bill!

I received a call from this number and they were looking for a friend of mine!! How did they get my number? I took the number and had him call back. Are you all sure this is really Toyota financial?  They also were talking to him about an upcoming payment, not a late one. It sounds very scammy to me.

I don't own any Toyota products, nor do I own any car. These guys are harassing me everyday, wasting my $$$ and time.

Its a LEGIT call for car loan through toyota. I am 10 days late on payment and got a call

If you are getting calls either
A- you have a car loan past due
B- some put your number as contact # on a car loan and they are allowed to try to reach the loan person by calling

If you are getting calls and are sure nobody at your # has a car loan, you can go to toyotafinancialservices website and call them to inform them of the situation

Yes, it's a legit call from Toyota credit in my case too.  They call if a payment is more than 10 days past the official due date.

I recieved a call from this number twice in one day and i asked them for the reason of this call. i do have a toyota but my payments are current. my car will be paid off in another year. seems like when your just about done with your dept. ppl want o make it hard for you to pay it off. well  the person never did tell me why he was calling me. just left me on hold satying he was waiting for the comuter to download my information. i became suspicous and hung up the phone. cause by that time I had been on the phone with him for several minutes.

Yes, this IS a collections SCAM because I do not own a Toyota nor do I owe them any money.  

I have suddenly been hit with many collection agencies calling for 3 different people.  I don't know any of them.

As you have read, many of us are being harrassed by a collections dept. that we don't deserve.

It sounds like everyone who has posted is an honest person paying their bills.  This collection/scam company doesn't care who they harass.

I will file complaints with the DNC list.  If it continues I will try the attorney general or any other agency to make sure Toyota and/or this low life company representing them are held accountable.

Financing a car through Toyota 2 years, late twice. Both times they started calling at 800AM the day after the payment was due and called my cell, home, work number etc. dozens of times. They probably use robodialers which is illegal in some states. One day late, not one month or one week, one day. Are times really that tough for Toyota they have to harass someone whos check might arrive there one day late?
Have financed cars in the past through other companies. No one else ever started harassing you the day after your payment is due. Can't wait till I sell this monster. Will never deal with Toyota ever again.

I do NOT own a Toyota, nor WILL I EVER own a Toyota --but these STUPID people keep calling my cell phone looking for LAURA WELLS. I do not know anyone by that name and do not own a stupid toyota, but these fools still keep calling! About to report them to the BBB, but I some how doubt that they will be of any help!

Got a new Panasonic phone with a "Block Caller" feature.  Greatest feature I've ever had on a phone. I get one of these calls and simply enter the number and I never hear from them again until they use another number....then, I block that one also. Anyway, it works for now and I have some peace of mind.

My dad got a call from this number, he got his bill from Toyota and called the number on it. When he told the person there what had happened and gave them the number, Toyota said it was a scam, that they do not own that number. Toyota said because of this scam, don't give them any information and hang up and call the number on your bill to ensure that you are speaking with someone from Toyota.

I've been receiving calls from this number off and on for weeks.  I finally decided to call them back and I found it interesting that they wanted an account number or my social security number.  Didn't give them either because I don't have any dealings with Toyota financial and I'm certainly not giving out my social security number.  I told them I wanted my number removed from their list.  The person asked if I was "Lisa Golden."  I said no and they said they would remove my name.  We will see!

Honestly, I know this is annoying, but the only time I recieve these calls is when I'm late on a payment. I'll go online and pay the bill immediately and the calls stop.  I completely agree it's annoying, but just pay your bills people.

Yep one of several #'s that Toyota keeps calling me from. The funny thing is I have 1 payment left to make on my vehicle and It's not due til next month. Go figure.

I leased a Toyota in 2008 and returned it last week after the completion of the 3-yr term.  I only made one late payment the entire time (it was 5 days late) and Toyota/Lexus Financial probably called me well over 500 times during that 3-yr period.  I called, wrote, emailed and texted too many times to remember to complain and was sometimes reassured with "we are sorry and will remove your number from our promotions list."  The calls continued incessantly.   I would hate to be somebody that is actually behind on payments!  After the end of the lease they had the balls to try to get me to lease a new vehicle from them: I WILL NEVER do any business with these a*sholes ever again as long as I live and I suggest you do the same.

Its a reminder service from Toyota/Lexus Financial that your payment is late. Listen up, you have up to 30 days to pay the late payment after due date before they mark it on your credit! I use this time. I constantly get calls. Even after I set the payment to post on a certain date on their site. Just ignore it.
