Ascentive IS a software company, but its software is not worth buying. I should know: I had Ascentive software on my old computer and instead of blocking spyware and malware, it actually INFECTED my computer with malware, rendering it useless. They're as bad as Cyber Defender -- a rip-off company, as far as I'm concerned.I do NOT recommend that you do business with them.

Got a call from this number. Caller ID no help. If I don't recoginize a number Iet my phone take a message, but no one speaks and stops ringing after 3 rings. They just make calls until someone answers.

I just got a call from this number said I was up for renewal call them want the last6 number of card they on file its Ascentive, DO NOT give your card number if they on it on file tell them to give you the last6 numbers.

We are on the government's No-Call List. Today we received a robot call from a company looking for a person named Ray Kello. The robot thanked Ray for his business in the past and told him that they would be automatically renewing his subscription for another year by using the credit card number already on file with them. As far as we can tell, a person named Ray Kelo has NOT lived in our state since the year 1952. We have been answering calls for the past year from people supposedly searching for Ray Kello. We have been telling people for the past year that we have NO idea who Ray Kello is. We put all of our phones on the government's No-Call list. We called the governor's office to check all of this out. They told us that these people have had sufficient warning and that we should just begin filing charges against them when they persist in calling our number, searching for Ray Kello.
