Received call from this number said it was Mitchell and Associates.

Got a call 30 seconds ago. Didn't answer and they left no message.

Oh... and it's on my personal cell which is also on the DNC list

Multiple two ring calls and hang-ups and never leaves a message. On my cell that is on the DNC list as well.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Did not answer it.

I found a couple of missed calls on my cellphone, I don't know where they got my number or what they want. When I called back I just get a message that mailbox for mitchel and associates is full.

Got a call today and I filed a complaint on www.donotcall.gov. File your complaints too - it works. I regularly file complaints about telemarketers who call my cell phone, and they stop calling. It works.

These a***oles are hammering us with calls at all hours of the day, but every day, different hours.  I have been unable to find out who the current user of the number is, and as you all have found, their modus operandi is still the same:  You pick up, say hello, and are greeted by silence.

They have called twice in the last few days. The guy says he is "Sam" and is trying to sell American Yellow Pages. When I called the number back, I also got Mitchell & Associates but it was a recording saying this was the "Mitchell & Associates do not call list". So I left my phone number and said "do not call".

I just got my Alltel phone 2 days ago and they have called me both days.  It is creepy!!!!  I just know it is a scam!

I have been getting multiple calls from this number.  When I answer there is dead silence, a couple of clicks and then a disconnect.
When I call the number back they tell me to enter my phone number and I will be deleted within 48 hours, however they call back in 2 weeks and I have to start all over again.
How do we get this harassment stopped?

It appears there are several companies using/renting this 800 number. The latest user claims to be the National Insurance Agency (NIA) asking for detailed medical history information to sell insurance. I suspect it is a telemarketer acting in behalf of companies who hired them. Getting removed from the call list seems futile.

This number calls me all the time, if I answer they say nothing. I am sick and tired of these calls.

missed the call on my cell today... they call like once every few days asking if i want to hear mortgage rates and i tell them every time i don't own a freakin house but they keep calling anyway. morons.

I got a call from them, the woman left an utterly uncomprehensible message. I literally could not understand a word she said. I did the *69 thing, and when I called back i got the "mailbox full" message as well. I'm not done with them.

i finally was there to pick up the line when they called me today -- IT WAS SOME WOMAN WHO WAS OFFERING SOMETHING RELATED TO MORTGAGES...i dont know how they got my cellphone number but obviously it was a sales call

I wonder - do all of you happen to have accounts with American Express? I've been waiting on a phone call from them and I wonder if they are somehow affiliated.

they've been calling me since yesterday; I called back and got a voicemessage box that apparently is full; I am not aware of owing any unpaid debts.

I get called once or twice a day when I answer they do not reply. When I call the number back 800-291-9247 its for Mitchell and A**. and voice box is full. Very Annoying

Received a phone called from this number - 800-291-9247 No answer to my "hello". When called back this number the answering machine said: "The mailbox beloning to Mitchel and Associates is full"

I just got one as well..I didn't pick up, so I called them back and got  the same message... I'm not late on anything... anyone actually talk to anyone over there?

I am getting phone once a week from this number.  I pick up and no one answers.  I call back and it says the mailbox for Mitchell and Associates is full.  I, too, owe nothing.

found out it is a collenction agency. I don't owe anyone anything!

They called at 5:53pm. No reponse to my hello. info this a collection agency.

They call me often, sometimes every day.  Returning the call gives the message that the mailbox for "Mitchell and Associates" is full.
