As long as it's not your loan, all you have to say is that you want to be put on their no contact list. I've even gone as far as threatening lawsuit for harassment. After bringing harassment into the conversation they are quite accommodating.
The great thing is that if they do call again, you can bring up charges.

I called back..Ameriloan...my buddy used me as a reference (without my knowing) for money he hasn't paid back..they left no message...I told them I haven't had contact with him in a long time and I didn't appreciate being called from someone who doesn't leave voicemails and to remove me from their list..They said they were happy to comply..We'll see

Received a call from this number, asking for a friend. The caller was being very obtuse as to who he was and who he worked for. I suspect it was Ameriloan, since my 'friend' likes to borrow money that he can't afford to pay back.

This number has called me twice in the last two months.  My friend used my name as a contact in getting a non-secured loan with AMERILOAN without telling me he had done so.  I ask him about the calls I received, and he said he did get a loan from them and had used my name and number.  He also said he had not paid them as he had contracted to do so.  

Aren't broke friends a wonderful thing to have!?

I received a message from Tiffany this morning concerning a relative using my name as a personal reference on an application.  The 800-305-4124 showed up on my caller  ID. I re dialed the number and talked to Tiffany who insisted on asking for my birthdate . I refused to give it to her and informed
her that she called me and I wanted to know why. Tiffany told me she could not give me any information unless I gave her my birth date. I again refused and informed Tiffany  that I was not going to give her my personal information  and  therefore not to call me any more and her reply was that she could not do that..

I told her that I would report her for harrassment if she would contine calling me.

I got this call, Loren the caller,leaving a message and trying to be intimidating she stated that I was listed as a contact and that I should  tell my friend to call AmeriLoan. Collections agency...so far I have gotten only one call, which I have not and will not return.

Recieved a call from this number i called it back and its a payday advance loan company and "friend" of mine put me as a reference and now hasnt paid his bill so they are wanting me to contact him and have him call their company. the gentleman was nice but told him i have nothing to do with my friends personal life and to stop calling  me .

I just got a call from this number 800-305-4124 - asking me to call them back.  I could barely understand the message and looked here first for info since I didn't recognize the number.  Thank for the info - I hate scammers!

got a loan with these scammers and even though i paid them they still harassing me for money. Don't answer their calls since they don't answer their emails

Rec'd a call from Jessica requesting to speak to my companion because someone had referred them to him but could not make out who because she chewed her words, I guess she was hungry.  I called back this number and spoke with Jessica but she would not tell me what this call was about and that she had to speak only to my companion.  I told her that he would not be available for 30 days and that he would not speak to her if she couldn't tell me what it was about.  The phone number 800-305-4124 comes up unavailable on the caller ID.  Must be a scam.

Just rec'd a call from a Jessica from this number 800-305-4124 asking for my companion but she chewed her words so it was hard to understand what she was saying as to who referred her to this number.  I called back and spoke with Jessica but she said she could only speak with my companion.  I told her that if she could not tell me then my companion would most likely not speak with her.  This number comes up on called ID as unavailable.  It has to be a scam of sorts.

they keep calling for my 84 year old grandpa that is a disabled vet and is on ssi

It's Ameriloan. They called a friend of mine and tried to identify themselves as AML. Pretty shady if you ask me.

I just got a phone call from this number today.  The caller asked me if I would pass on a message to a former friend of mine to call "AML," as they have been unable to reach him.  Apparently this former friend listed me as a reference with "AML.  I asked the caller what AML" was, but they said they could not disclose that information to me.

Afterwards, discovering online that AML is a debt collector I could not say I was surprised, as this former friend was notorious for his exorbitant spending.  He has even stolen money from his own grandmother to support his drug habit.  
(Yes, some friend indeed.  I abandoned the friendship when he began asking me for cash and exhibiting other disturbing behaviors.)
