Totally annoying calls that began only a few hours after I searched online for some "quotes" through what started out, at least, to be a government site. I shall never make that mistake again.  Thank goodness I do not have voice mail on my cell phone, which is the only phone number they have!

A lady named robin called me today, regarding an earlier inquiry I made about insurance. i told her i was unemployed but would be looking after i got back to work. She gave me the number 800-320-0760. She was a very nice lady. But she kept saying she was with the quality assurance dept and wouldnt give the company name, though I asked for it direct. Unusual. She was very nice on the phone.

I had a wonderfull experiance with this company!  I have no idea how these complaints can be true.  I've had numerous conversations with an agent by the name of Marc and his supervisor Victor.  They helped me out tremendously.  U.S Health Benefits is the best Health Insurance experiance I've Had.  I've been on my plan with United Healthcare for 11 months and I'm ready to enroll my son who is just about to hit 25 on a new policy on his birthday!  I'm staying with these brokers for years to come!

youre retarded.  they only call people when phone numbers are inputed into the internet.  if your stupid kid didn't do it, which she probably did, the it was probably a friend at school playing a prank on her and putting her number on website forms.  people in call centers are people too, we are just too ugly to sell things face to face.  telemarketing provides convenience and good deals.

now im going for a job interview at these guys right now.  thats why i ended up here.  i am a phone pro though and after reading this i understand that everything is opt in data and they aren't cold calling anybody.  thats a good thing for me, wish me luck!

i'll be calling your daughter later.  there's no do not call list once you opt in your information and say CALL ME!

The same thing happened to me with the eHealthInsurance.  I have used the website before and never had a problem.  I applied to a specific plan yesterday around 5:00... within three hours, I had received 4 calls.  A woman named Cindy left a message from a different phone number but provided 1-800-320-0760 as the call-back number.  At first I thought it was someone from the insurance company to which I had applied hours before, but when I re-listened to the message, I realized that she never left the name of the company, and I became suspicious.  I Googled the phone number and I found this message board, as well as a website for US Health Benefits Group with this number listed as the customer service line.  I also received a call from a random health insurance broker from West Virginia offering me the "opportunity to review lots of low-cost plans."  It concerns me that these people may have my social security number and other information that I provided to eHealthInsurance in what I thought was a confidential application.  I did check on my actual application submitted through eHealthInsurance and it is still being reviewed by the company to which I applied.  Everyone be careful!!  Listen to your voice messages carefully!  In the two times I have applied for health insurance via eHealthInsurance, I have never been called by the actual company -- they always communicate via e-mail or regular mail.  I trust eHealthInsurance but I wonder how these companies/people got my information so quickly...

I started receiving the phone calls two days ago and cannot get them to stop calling.  It is a different person using the same name Jennifer.  Two very different female voices.  If anyone knows how to get them to stop calling any information would be greatly appreciated.

these people called my minor child's cell phone number and harassed her with phone calls until I called them up and let's say I issued a scathing tirade that included my intention to file a complaint with the police, the attorney general, the FBI and anyone else I can find including an attorney who will make them stop.  This is not the only health care scam that someone got hold of my child's number.  The calls started suddenly two days ago.  Some of the people claimed she filled out an online application which is a total load of BS.  That did NOT happen ever.  Another one told me NetQuote sold them the number.  I have never heard of NetQuote.  The only thing I can think of is someone filled out an online form and put in a random phone number that happened to be my kid's.  If that's it, then thanks a lot whoever you are for jeopardizing my child's privacy and safety.

A legit company does not call anyone ten times a day.  It's a scam or else they would not feel the need to harass people.

These people are calling my minor child and harassing her several times a night.  She started receiving these calls from nowhere.  She never filled out any insurance forms or anything at all!!  She never gave out her number either.  These calls started one night and she received them over and over.  I called them back from my landline (I am going to move soon and will be getting rid of the phone number anyway) and let loose a tirade that would peel the paint off the walls and told them if they ever call my child again I will turn them in to every law enforcement agency and consumer protection entity I can find.  I didn't let them say one word - just kept screaming at them.  Sometimes they hung up on me - another time the woman kept saying ok, ok ok ok until I hung up on HER.  FIGHT back!  These people are evil scammers and are NOT legitimate.  Messing with me is one thing but mess with my child and that crosses the line.

This is an absolute scam!  These people steal your name from einsurance.com (which is, by the way, a legitimate search help for health insurance).  They then call with an unbelievable health insurance offer - a group policy with a large corporation.  They tell you the corporation has an opening in their group policy due to someone's leaving.  Absurd!  You must be an employee of any company/corporation to receive their benefit!  Why would a business or corporation want to pay their share for someone who is not even employed there?  We have reported them to the Insurance Commisioner in Wyoming, but unfortunately this kind of activity is largely unregulated!
DO NOT fall for this scam!  DO NOT give them any personal info of any sort and don't send in a check!

I was simply looking for quotes. The next day my phone wrang all day. A messages were left I could barely understand, I had to play it 4 times to get a number, stating that they got my application and it was being processed. What application? I didnt fill out any application nor did I give anyone the go head to process any of my personal information. I called the number provided, after a bunch of russling a lady voice was heard and I was hung up on. I called back spoke with the lady that initally called "Liza" she was very rude, she wasnt listening to anything that I was saying, but instead presumed to ask me questions regarding insurance and throughout our conversation she made remarks about my responces, such as "WHY" and "OH" and "YOUR NOT BUYING INSURANCE, I was talked to like I did something wrong. Not at any point did I feel comfortable talking to this lady.

They left a message for me to call them about health care.  I called to let them know that I already have health care and they asked if I would like to be taken off the call list and she did it.  No calls in weeks!  Just call and ask to be removed.

I made the mistake of applying for health insurance via Ehealthinsurance

I too was bombarded by calls trying to get me to sign up - each and everyone refused to send plan details in writing so I could make an informed decision before I would agree to PAY for any of them.

I finally emailed the Ehealthinsurance website and told them to remove me from their lists.  I refuse to do business with any organizationt that refuses to send me info in writing, and using the phone to harrass me.

I keep getting calls from "Susan" as well saying that my application for healthcare has been accepted. The thing is, I never filled out an application, and had never heard of these people until they started calling my phone.  I have no idea how they got my number and they are really starting to piss me off!

I applied online for short term insurance for my son who's graduating from college.  Almost instantly my phone started ringing.  A guy named Mike called from a different number, but gave me this one as the call-back number.

He pressured me to make a decision about coverage immediately while we were on the phone and was not happy that I wanted some time to think about it and investigate options longer before making a decision.  I could hear a lot of other people talking in the background, so I assume it was a call center pushing insurance products.

While on that call, I got another one from another insurance broker.  I got a better deal from the second caller, but hope I've not been scammed by giving my son's birth date and SSN.  I have received a message that the insurance has been approved, but my credit card has not yet been charged.

My experience with this number:

I used ehealthinsurance.com to get preliminary quotes on individual health insurance.  I chose a specific insurance provider and went through the application process.  Before I was even finished with the app my phone began to ring; two of the calls were from this number.  The message, left by a Kim Smith (male), was the same as the others in this thread have reported:  that I was approved *for health insurance*, and that coverage could begin as soon as midnight tonight.

I googled the number and up popped this thread.  The info here is a little confusing, so I called the number back and asked for Kim Smith.  I was put through to him right away.

He indicated he was reviewing my application and I said, "I applied to XXX Provider."  He said, "Oh, you applied to XXX?"  I affirmed.  "Oh, sorry, then," he said.  "Bye."  And he hung up.

I can't conclude that these folks are scamming, but from this experience I can conclude that they have nothing to do with my actual app and were trying to divert me to one of their products.  I'm glad this thread was here.  Please also note that I haven't received a single call from XXX Provider.  They don't have my app yet, as clearly indicated on ehealthinsurance.com.  They don't forward your app till they have your money in hand.

If you make an inquiry for medical coverage from a wide variety of websites the phone center, whom this number belongs to, will give you a call.  More than likely "Susan" was the one working with the files for the specific company you had contacted, or maybe not.

Anyone that would have answered the incoming call would not have been able to answer one way or the other, as they would have had no means to know which way to answer your question.

From your post you obviously made the call in with a poor attitude (it shows in your post and repeated posting of the exact same message (that's called spam - shame on you!)).

They called me ONLY because of MY request for insurance quotes for coverage.  If I hadn't made that internet inquiry they would not have called me.  This is in my case, and I can't speak for anyone else, but we all do have to remember that call centers save companies money - and the centers are H U G E !  100+ people on the phones.

I came on here just to see what people had to say.  IF this goes bad I will be back, to give accurate information, no this hemming and hawing that goes on so far.

Here is how I was treated by US Health Plans:
A message was left on my voicemail by someone named Susan, that I had been accepted and approved for health insurance as of midnight tonight which was Aug 15th.  Not realizing that this was not the company that I had applied to, I called Susan back and a person answered and said Susan would call me right back, she did not ask for my phone number. So, I waited for about 30 minutes and called back.  I asked to speak to Susan and was told (the same voice from the first call) that she was on another line and she asked how could she help me.  I told her that I was calling because Susan had left a message that I have been accepted and approved for health insurance as of midnight on Aug. 15.  The person on the other end became very rude, and said only my quote had been accepted.  I said what do you mean, only my quote had been accepted, she became very rude and said, "Don't you know what a quote it?  I said Susan stated that my application had been approved.  She said hold on so that I can get someone to explain to you what a quote is.  She put me on hold for a few minutes and came back with some rude statement and stated Susan was busy since you do not know what a quote is. After hang up I went back and listened to the message that was left on my voice mail.  Here is exactly how it was spoken by Susan: " Your application have been accepted and approved as of midnight today (Aug 15).  I was out of town and called Susan back today which is Aug. 18 to confirmed that I had coverage and to ask a few questions about the new policy.
